He was mostly plugging the PBS pledge drive that will be this evening on St. Louis public television -- Soundstage plus Dennis' usual goofy shenangins. He did say John Waite will be calling in.

The only story I had never heard him tell was a funny one about Styx playing a benefit concert in St. Louis in front of the big screen at a drive- in theater. He said it was bizarre singing to, basically, a bunch of cars. I can imagine.

He was not on for very long and he did not sing in the studio.

Well I didn't catch the show, but I kinda have to agree. Like Dennis though I do, there is some material he seriously needs to retire.

Jerry Lewis, Tony Bennet, bong water...all need to go.
