The station we have on as background music at my workplace had an interview with Dennis this morning...he was plugging the new CD. ( Bob and Kimberly in the morning...I think it's a syndicated show )

Sounded like his typical radio interview with a few interesting tidbits...

When they asked if there was anything left out of the "Behind the music" Styx episode his answer was " The Truth" ( he went on to elaborate about how they were going through a divorce...the worst time to do that type of interview )

He Played Lady, and said the reason his voice has held up so well over the years was underwear 2 sizes too tight ( I'm paraphrasing on that )

I couldnt give it my undivided attention, but he sounded upbeat and was his usual goofy, and positive self.

I thought it funny they played Blue Collar Man ( ? ) to break up the segments.

Just remembered one other question answer that was interesting....

they asked/ joked about a former frontman tour with DDY, David Lee Roth, Steve Perry, etc.....

Dennis said he'd love to tour with Perry, but that Peery has chosen a more solitary lifesytle, etc.....he did say something along the lines of "wouldnt that be something ?"

Then he said he was playing a corporate/private show next week that DLR would also be playing at....

I wonder how many of these corporate/private shows he does....??? I bet they pay well.

Do you have a bit more info on the show and/or the station call letters? Sometimes they will archive the interview and you can hear it over the internet.

But the pic looks like its from the Back to the World Days.

Actually I think that's more from 10 on Broadway era.

Sounds like it was a normal DeYoung interview.

And I do believe he does many corporate shows throughout the year. Not a bad gig if you can get it.

Thanks for the link. I may check to see if they run a clip tomorrow, but it looks like they only have brief excerpts from their interviews. Might be fun to see what they post.
