Which do you guys find more enjoyable?
I understand that Reach is obviously better quality (I'm talking about the albums not the songs).
But the FMS demos are just so much deeper in song quality song volumn.
Let's look at it...
1. Someone else's sleeples night
2. No boundaries
3. Innocence of love
4. That's what it feels like to fall
5. Rebel girl 98
6. Everything turns on you
7. Give it up
8. Feel the memories
9. Fire makes steel
10. Nevertheless
11. Jessica
12. The love we never made
13. Seconds away
14. Lies
Vs.
1. Reach
2. Fire Makes Steel
3. Nevertheless*
4. Seconds Away
5. One MOre Change
6. Gimmie The World
7. Rhythm Of Your Heart
8. I Don't
9. Half Of My Heart
10. Talkin' 'Bout Love*
11. Don't Give Up
12. Home
So let's say that Nevertheless is a throwaway, as it's about the same...I way prefer the older version of FMS, it's grittier. I also like Seconds Away a little more from FMS, as I like what they did with the Guitar, but that might be a toss up.
I'm not sure Lies is Survivor and not Frankie and Rebel Girl is an older song.
From FMS, I would say I really love:
Someone Else's Sleepless Night, That's What it Feels Like, Jessica, The Love we never made, and Everything turns on You.
Strip for me is a bit strange, but the sound is Classic Survivor.
I just like the overall sound of the record...
From Reach, two of the best songs (FMS and Seconds) are FMS hold overs.
I do like "I don't" a good bit as well. Reach without a question is classic Survivor and sounds good and unlike most people, I actually like Home. The rest to me is filler...Some of it's okay, but it just fails to stand out...
What do you guys thing?
