Jurrasic Park- You mean where the two kids saved the day? His stuff is just so 'consumer-ready'.
Well...Sam Neill saved the day, but I see your point. However, Michael Crichton wrote the book.
Benchley's book "Jaws" was one of the best books I ever read for a long time. The movie did nothing for me. That's what happens when you read the book first.
Jaws was the first "real" book I ever read. It was a Readers Digest Condensed version (anyone remember those?) and I must have been about 7 or 8 years old. I don't even remember the first time I saw the movie, but I watch it multiple times annually. One of the greatest classics of all time.
Schindler's list didn't do much for me either. Good subject matter, but ... I dunno, I probably need to watch that again.
One of the few movies I had to walk out on...A real powerful film...Forgot to put Saving Private Ryan in there too....Another quintessential war film.
Indiana Jones was 'okay'. Then one of the sequels had a bunch of kids in it. No thanks. I think he sucks.
You mean Short Round? Yeah, that did suck. But the first Indy was amazing.
