I also agree with this. People just want to take away things from others to satisfy themselves. Like just getting on the highway is a bitch, people a mile behind you speed up when they see you up ahead getting ready to merge onto the freeway. They act as though the road belongs to only them. I love to let them pass me up without letting me merge and then I floor it and come up right on their ass and then swirve around them while flipping them off. Usually they are in those gay electric cars. Sure I pay more for gas then they do but the satisfaction I get from passing them up pays for itself, trust me. Once I had a guy cut me off in a shitty 00' Ford Focus, I went up next to him, rolled my passenger side window down and flung a fist full of change at the side of his car. The sound of those copper and nickel trinkets pinging off his windows, door panel and fender was hilarious. So he gunned the Focus to a tooth-clattering whine and tried catch up to me But his car was no match for mine. I laughed and got the fuck out of there by standing on the gas. Within seconds, he was a mere speck in my rear-view.

But I would also like to add that another problem is some of these famous people have a really bad time dealing with falling from what once was. Example, it must be hard for someone like Eddie who was once on top of the world now be lower, simply because they are no longer young anymore, plus the music that once made him who he was, is now not really as popular as it was then. The fall from being on top must also have a negative impact on people like Eddie as well.

I think when you can charge $150 a ticket and still sell out arenas, you should feel pretty damn good about your status and popularity!!

Ain't that the truth! Freaking idiots... I hate that! Also when you are trying to merge right to catch an off-ramp, and the guy in the other lane (who isn't going to exit) speeds up to cut you off from the ramp. I saw something quite wild happen on the freeway today, and since I doubted anyone was injured, I have to admit I was very amused to see what happened to that dumbass...

Hey, if some gay electric car is cutting you off, what are you driving... a moped? :P

I think people are just angry and selfish in general, and it's probably in part due to the high price of sushi. About the only sushi most people can afford is the stuff they put out on the Chinese buffet (assuming people don't know that sushi doesn't come from China), and that sushi is tough and rubbery -- highly not recommended. What do you think of this?

I don't do road rage... too much of a risk, plus, I'd be angry all the time. The road is chock full of idiots, and trying to correct them or teach them a lesson would be an endless and fruitless endeavor. Another risk is escalation -- one of these screwballs sees you parked somewhere and decides to key your car to retaliate. Forget that...

Perry would fake a hip injury after the end of the third song and EVH would guzzle a bottle of Jack Daniels and throw his guitar into a stack of amplifiers, setting a fire that burns down the arena.

Letting Wolfie go was a bigger mistake than I thought. Not only did the harmonies sound like SHIT, but he seemed like a voice of reason that was probably sorely missed.

I don't know Dan, my husband and his friend who saw them live and are big DLR fans, thought it was great. They admit Dave's voice isn't quite the same, not that it ever was great, but they were very happy with the whole concert. I think you have to be a DLR fan to get it.

Not talking about Roth's voice...I'm talking about the signature voice, Michael Anthony's, being missing in the harmonies. And the fact that they were replaced by someone that looks like the fat kid in Goonies and sounds like shit is even worse!!! Roth sounded like he always has...very average.

Well, to those who saw them live, it was fine. And to my 14 year old son, it was really cool for him to see a young kid on bass. And they thought he did a great job. Not everyone is in tuned to those harmonies like you are Dan :P ;)

Van Halen actually admitted that they couldn't do the harmonies live because Eddie has half a tongue, Wolfie really can't sing and Dave needed the breather so they took extensive time and takes (and pitch correction I'm sure) and used ALL pre-recorded backing vox. That's why it "was fine."

All of this is crap. VH has not played to a click, which is essential to playing to tracks. There is no evidence of artifacts common to Autotune or any other plug-in for pitch correction. Last I heard they were using the smaller Digidesign Venue, so they would have been using Autotune, which has distinctive artifacts. EVERY youtube video I have heard has had crappy vocals, common to a DLR show. The backing vocals were off! IF they were going to pitch correct, they would do a better job than that.

A thing to note is that they are monitoring from wedges and downfills, not In-Ears. It has been reported by techs on the tour that they have had feedback issues because of the high level of top end on that stage. It is excessively bright, because those old dogs have hearing threshold shifts and permanent nerve damage. Alex said in the 90s that he had 60& loss in one ear and 40% in the other. We all know that guitar players are deaf from standing in front of their rigs. I can only suspect that Ed is as bad as what-s his face from Mr. Big. He is totally deaf above 4kHz. That said, because it is that loud, the band is singing sharp, because that is how the ear hears at excessive volumes. None of those guys are true vocalists. They are rockers belting it out as close to the note as possible.

Maybe Eddie Van Halen and Amy Winehouse should hook up?
They could film it for a reality show. Call it - 'Rehab, Yes, Yes, Yes' or 'The New One Day at a Time'.
They'd go through work out routines, heavy smoking sessions, gardening, lost soul-searching walks, and writing & recording music.
The show's finale would be performing a new album from them, with its release date the next day.

Aside from JSS with Journey, I cannot remember the last time I wanted something to happen as much as a permanent DLR/VH reunion.

SUNDAY EVENING
1. TMZ POSTED FIRST REGARDING HOTELS BEING CANCELLED AND SAYING THE TOUR WAS CANCELLED.

2. MR POSTED NEXT THE TOUR WAS CANCELLED.

3. ALL OTHER MEDIA OUTLETS CAME IN....

MONDAY MORNING
4. VH CONFIRMED THAT SHOWS WERE BEING POSTPONED AND RESCHEDULED.

5. NEW DATES POSTED ON THE VAN-HALEN.COM BUYING THEM ANOTHER WEEK TO FIND OUT WHAT EDDIE IS DEALING WITH.

Im still not convinced the tour will go on, but hopefully it will.
