So, who is going Firefest?

Postby youkeepmewaiting » Tue Mar 04, 2008 2:30 am

I know its a bit early yet but just thought it'd be interesting to find out.

I'll be there. Just have to decide which night/nights to go.

If i can then i will try Friday and Saturday. If not i think it'll probably be Sat (God i hope Steve A makes a suprise appearence to sing a Journey duet with JSS on that night).

Just saw on your myspace that you are a Ian Hunter fan, did you manage to catch him in concert last year?

Oh, yes. We go to see him every year when he tours. One of the most gifted songwriters in the business. And he does everything with such character and humour. His voice may be too gravelly for the purists but it's certainly distinctive, and when you see him and his band live you cannot help yourself but bop along. Rock'n'Roll at its very best.

You guys in the UK are soooooo lucky!

I wish with all my heart this trip was possible for me, but alass, it is not.

However, I have all my fingers, toes and eyes crossed that there will be a US tour. I can see a Sweet Stevie Road Trip in my future! 8)

I would like to go to it. Not sure if I'll be there for the Friday but I'm at least gonna TRY and make it to the Saturday and Sunday cos the line-up looks brilliant.

I particularly want to see Tyketto, Firehouse and Tall Stories.

seriously thinking about it. we usually take one of our vacations around that time of year. i would hate though to spend all that money & have something go wrong. that would stink! if for some reason jss had to pull out i would be crushed. always wanted to visit the uk... especially ireland. }=C))

thinking... thinking... we'll see!
