Lincoln is a great guy. I'll never forget when Steve called him "Fresh Meat" on the tour. I think Linc was all of 22 at the time. :D

Funny that no matter where you go, or how big the audience is, you play a Journey song and folks know all the words..... 8)

Tim Miner, also a CCM artist/producer, had a hand in FTLOSM as well...

Yeh, Lincoln is a great artist. I'd like to see Phil Joel former member of newsboys do an acoustic cover of open arms and segue right into entertaining angels. I know two very different songs lyric content wise. But he has an awesome voice none the less

i had him sign the FTLOSM cds at the meet and greet. I have all of Lincoln's cds too but we were limited to one autograph.

here's a funny bit from the pre-show -general- admission -wait- in -line -in- the- blazing -sun time.

Lincoln Brewster is one of the few singers I can stand to listen to sing a hymn.... Did that make sense?
I liked him before I ever heard anything FTLOSM and was thrilled when I found out he was in the SP band! 8)

Does anyone know what he said around 0.40? Someone in the audience laughed but I couldn't tell what he said.
Thanx for the link!

Per Wikipedia:
"Brewster's guitar technique, tone, and equipment choices possessed similar qualities and texturing to Journey's Neal Schon, and was touted as a favorable feature in the resulting album."

Yeah Tim Miner had a major role on two songs on the record. The main one being missing you. His album had a song that was Missing You on it. There were only a few minor changes in the song for FTLOSM. Perry added so much to the song in the area of perfomance but almost nothing to the songwriting.

Missing You's a bad song overall, but does have the intriguingly curios lyric that begins a verse, "Fear in the dark..."

Lincoln played on albums of and has co-written several songs with Darrell Evans, another CCM artist (www.darrellevans.com). Darrell worked for me about 12 years ago as a telemarketer selling long distance services. He was the best sales person I had out of more thann 500. He was playing small church gatherings, but needed a "real" job to pay the bills.

A few years after he left the company where we worked, he got a record contract and starting writing and playing with Lincoln Brewster.
