Cheers mate, I have not seen this on yet. Heres a quote after the interview:

'Larry & Shelby then give away a "few hundred" TBF CDs away to callers...'

Haha that's a fair bit to give away! :D

See now, when you think about it that way, Journey is still Journey without Steve Perry. And Steve Perry is still Steve Perry without Journey.

You Loons make it sound like Journey's some kind of "Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band" or "Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers" deal.

Steve Perry and Journey. Pfft.

Sometimes I wonder if Journey would've been better off to change their name to "PERRY" when he joined the band, and then change back to Journey after he left... haha.

Haha the Killers are actually one of the more "retro" modern groups. They bring to mind a lot of 80s-style power pop and such. There's some blatant Cheap Trick and Cars influence in alot of their music. Half the time I myself don't know what they're singing about, but I just focus on the throbbing bass and cool synth and chiiiill.

No. Its not his fans running around doing that. Its the media that does it. The radio here does it, the satelittle stations do it and every time they're mentioned on TV for any reason, they do that too. Last summer with the Sopraons thing AND with the Wtite Sox thing, all the news anchors here mentioned Steve by name when talking about it. Its not some made up loon thing (well, maybe some of them do it too, I don't know... *shrug*), it's a fact. I hear that a lot.

In fact, more than once with the Sopranos thing I heard them refer to DSB "his song" or "Steve Perry's song".
It's just happens to be the first thing that a lot of people associate when they hear that.

That was the point of my post.
They were probably looking at each other every time the dj's did that, like "Crap, here we go Jon".
The point is that the general public thinks of the band as Steve Perry and Journey. That's gotta be a tough pill to swallow for Schon.

tsk-tskk-tsk!!!

It seems to me that in a rush to Perry (and Perry fan) bash, the men have overlooked something important.

A quote from Perry:

like the other day, I was doing dishes and vacuuming my own house.

If men only realized how sexy this is to women - a man that vacuums!!!!

**s-i-g-h**

Any man that vacuums, might also pick his own underwear up.

Men - don't know what to talk about on that first date??

Talk laundry - you will get so lucky!!!
