Fair enough. I forgot about his success with Roxette and Mr Big. Was was Azoff's track record like leading up to the Joureney reunion? I must check that out...
Herbie also managed the Storm who would have been huge pre-grunge era and Neal's solo efforts, pretty successful by Higher Octave standards and of course making more $ with Nocturne than he did with all his musical acts put together.
Regarding the earlier statement about Chalfont and Augeri not connecting with the masses, Augeri and Soto have both been widely accepted by concert goers. As far as album sales, you can't fairly compare the post-Perry era's success to what it could have been in the mid-late 80s. Any of the three of these guys and others could have been successful. Lets not forget that except for the success of Oh Sherry the "masses" wouldn't know Perry's name anymore than they know Neal or Jon's.
