I was surprised just like you were with that one!!! I actually got excited because it's been so long since I have heard such a great sounding rock cd and the guitar is awesome. I didn't like Secret Society as well, but it does have a few songs I love.

Yeah, I can't even remember how I heard about it, but I remember going to their website just to hear the clips of 3 of the songs over and over again until my disc came in, I was that impressed. A more modern sound with tuned down guitars, but still very much Europe, not apologizing for being MR. Also, the lyrics were great -- there seemed to be a recurring theme of doubting themselves as they try to climb the ladder again, and kinda having a laugh at themselves a bit. I also loved the tribute to Phil Lynott ("Hero"). I should be getting the new one any day now, maybe tomorrow.

I agree completely!!! Hero is one of my favorites! I also love Flames but the whole album overall is just great. And the lyrics are not cheesy at all, that's for sure. You'll like the new one too!

I think I'm going to pop in STFD right now, matter of fact. Hopefully I'll be listening to "Secret Society" tomorrow, along with 4 JSS discs I've ordered. :P

Sherrie, remember the Journey piece AjM did? You and I took heat because we were involved. I think that's what is being said here.

I deleted that post because it seemed pointless, but you btoh have quoted it, so I'll add 2c...I have no idea why the post, but yeah, you guys saw some of the Journey piece and brought some typo's to my attention. Big deal!
When I need more proof readers for my NON-Journey related plans...I'll drop you both a line.

It was the beginning of the end of your professionalism, Andrew. Oh right! IMO!

Seriously - you are a complete ass. Congratulations...you just made your last post. I simply don't have to put up with people like you who drop in time and time again and use up my bandwidth only to sprout negativity and bait others into dualing with you.

Pointless? Everything that goes against the grain of what the chosen few think is pointless. If anyone has half a brain to think for themself, they are "full of venom." I say that most of you are afraid of the truth and you can't stand to have someone point out the mistakes that have been made. Have you not noticed how you all are in your own little world here and that everyone has moved on?

Hots is gone, but she will not be forgotten.(God, I loved writing that.)

I'm a little late to this party, but I wanna say that I recall quite a few people, myself included, saying that we missed you being there. It's not quite the same without you... I mean, I didn't get mooned once, no one was sitting around farting or writing messages on their bare ass with a permanent marker, and you totally missed Ed's song & dance performance. What the hell is an MR/Annex party without that stuff??? :?

You & Lula were missed.

There is a way of making your point and being a bitch 24/7 is not someting that will help your cause, hence her demise.

No one is going to miss her "input" and as far as accepting criticism, I think I take more than my fair share with good grace.

Well I know Hots made you angry, but Andrew, please don't get too mad at me for saying this , but don't you think that is an exaggeration on your part to say that "she was always full of venom , spite and attitiude???"

I've seen alot of great posts and good discussions by Hots on this board over the years that I've been here.

Ahh... I'm old school, and like hard media (CD's). I like the case, artwork, etc. Don't think I can ever bring myself to buy a set of files... haha! I do have plenty of use for MP3's, but not as a replacement for discs. I know CD's will go away someday, but hopefully no time soon.

Plus, I don't like iTunes, because they are proprietary to iPods. Or visa versa... or both. Whichever. :P

Well I have to disagree with you Andrew. When you speak about "venom, spite, and attitude" there has been MANY others here that are guilty of that behavior, and without naming names, they are all still here on the board.

Yeah, but they don't go punching the proprietor in the gut telling him he's lost his credibility and professionalism. Why should Andrew put up with that? Would you? I know you posted this to him and I hope you don't mind me chiming in.

If this were my board and she said that to me, she would have been gone as well. Andrew has the patience of a saint if you ask me. He puts up with more shit than any site mod I've ever seen.

I agree with you that Andrew has a tough job running this board, every moderator does, but Andrew is rarely challenged on his view points, MOST here agree with all he says. And Andrew is NOT "taking punches" on a "regular basis" from ALL who post here on this board.

Well we can agree to disagree then. While I understand you and she are friends on here, you have to admit what she said was out of line, and that's not the first time she's done that.
