Also, staying on topic of SEC Basketball, Ole Miss is getting waxed by that powerhouse Ohio State

Talk about your all time backfire eh Gatorboy?

SEC sucks ass.

First off if you really believe the SEC sucks then I question your college sports knowledge. This was a down season for the conference although several teams still made the big dance. Overall, the SEC has ruled in football for a very long time(6 National Championships since 1991)and between Florida and Kentucky we have done quite well in basketball over the years. Florida lost to UMass, thats not an embarassing thing. UMass has always been a basketball school, thats their claim to fame. Look over the last 15 years at their success record. They had all seniors and juniors playing compared to one lone junior on the Gators and everyone else freshies and sophs who played very little last year. What this adds up to for us is a very good team next year while others begin to fall. I am amazed that Ohio St beat Ole Miss, since normally OSU couldnt beat an SEC team even if they failed to show up. Heres my advice if you are a college football and basketball fan:Fear the Gators...be afraid,be very afraid....

Ohio State didn't have much problem with UF this year in bb. Was hoping they would play in the NIT finals...oh well.

Every night I say a prayer that somehow...some way...my Buckeyes will get another shot at the Gators in football. Yes, you heard that correctly.

Go Buckeyes!

And grifting onto the SEC bandwagon as a way to vicariously prop FL up is a joke.

Your boy in your avatar-thats the definition of suck. How overrated he is, pretty much his entire career. Does he even coach anymore or is it always his assistants calling the games and hes there for the media? His career win record is a joke. His assistant coaches deserves that record. Yeah, Florida sucks. All we do is win Championships. If thats what the definition of suck is then I hope we suck forever! Why does the board keep hearing about Florida? I guess the same reason they continue to hear about other topics on a continuous basis that have NOTHING to do with Journey. If you dont wanna read about them its simple-avoid the topic. Thats what I do.

Paterno's in my avatar because I admire the guy.
I don't cram him or Penn State football/athletics down the board's throat 24/7/365 the way you do with that fraud school down there in Gainseville. You're sick of reading the OT threads? Yet you incessantly spam the place with OT Florida/SEC propoganda? How does that reconcile?

Enigma's starting a lot of OT threads but at least they vary.

You're a 2-trick pony: "YAY Florida Yay!!!!!!!" or when the gators suck it's "YAY SEC YAY!!!!"

Anyone dissing Joe Paterno is a moron, regardless of school affiliation. The guy is a legend and does as much coaching as anyone else in the game.

Time Out!!! That man is a legend. Both as a coach and as a mentor/father. The graduation rate at Penn State is unbelievable. Joe Paterno produces quality human beings. Admittedly, Florida has a better program now, but let's see Urban Meyer grind it out for 45 years...adapt to the game as it changes, as kids change and as recruiting changes, and still run a pretty solid top 25 program. You have about 35 years to go before you can even contemplate dissing Mr. Paterno. Until then, keep your Gator trap shut as it pertains to Mr. Paterno. Have a blessed day. 8)

Steve Spurrier sucks. With the Redskins, he was the anti-Gibbs. Don't stand in between him and the front door at 5:01 p.m. or you might have been run over.

LOL!!!!

And he full-well admitted that. Read a GREAT book that I stole from my dad called War Without Death, written about the 2006 NFC East season by a former Redskins beatwriter and he said that when The Ballcoach was there he'd actually have to ask potential free agent signees "What team did you play for last year?"
As an NFL coach, Mr Superior is a FANTASTIC college coach.

All kidding aside, I LOVE Spurrier.

First-who did have much trouble with UF this year in BBall???? Not much of an accomplishment there. Second-BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR BECAUSE YOU JUST MIGHT GET IT. Ohio State is 0 and 9 against the SEC and you pray for another shot at the Gators? Are you high? Remeber at the Buckeyes best they were supposed to spank Florida and what happened? 41-14. Nothing from your Heisman QB since. This statement about praying for another shot at UF is ridiculous considering the success against Florida, and the SEC!!! Believe me-the folks in the SEC PRAY for more title shots against OSU also, on a daily basis.....

You're done. Fool

I'm not done, spank boy-Im just getting started!!! I'll take Bobby Bowden ANYDAY over paterno. By the way, Paterno hasnt had any luck with UF either(see Citrus Bowl 98 ).

Penn State not having 1500 yard-rusher Curtis Enis that day helped Florida a little.

I DO like Bobby Bowden, though.

we'll probably hold it in the same regards as WSU does with their sweet 16 thrashing from UNC. With that type of loss you almost wish they werent there....wow, 68-47. You guys gonna hang a banner for that???? You'll have to look at that one with pride....

LOL. Losing to the best team in the nation, on the road, by 20, is much more respectable than losing to a third place Atlantic team by 12.

The fact is, at least we had a chance to be NCAA champions this year, UF didn't.

We'll live with being the Champions the last 2 straight years while we reload. Something that hasnt happened since the very early 90's with Duke. And if looking at it that way makes you feel like its been a big success then good for you!

You dont understand man, unless you live down here. I love my family, I love my friends, I work hard for a living and I party just as hard but our football is like a religion. Thats the only way I can put it. I have perspective and believe it or not I live a good life and Im one of the nicest sons of bitches you'd ever meet, until Im provoked. Down here family understands on gameday you either get on the tailgate or get out of the way.
