Sure like many bands the vocals are sweetend but they are live. Ive watched over 40 non youtube videos of this tour and they are singing live.

As journey fans you guys certainly are experts on is it live or not live Vocals...LMAO....

Live combined pre-recorded tracks. It's "the" way to do it now days live.

No, E V E R Y BO D Y is weird. I see it everywhere I go. People have just changed in a big way. There's no courtesy, manners, and nobody gives a rats a$$ about their surroundings. You see it right here on MR, I see it at the shows I do, I see it everywhere. People have just really become "It's all about me and I don't care about you". It's sad. If Eddie pulled his head out, maybe he'd realize that he's f'ing it up for his kid, for his brother, and for Dave who SEEMS to have pulled himself together for this tour, but nope, it's gonna be about Ed and his booze or whatever.

Once again people take something out of context in the way it was meant.
Yes, of course everyone is weird, but musicians are deep souls that feel everything and are usually more soulful and people that live in their
imaginations more than common folk. Eddie is a vulnerable guy and obviously he can't help himself, he's given us a gift so give him a freakin
break, I love Eddie and Valerie, some people beat to a different drum.

Nope, just used the post as a jumping off point. Artists are weird, but people in general are not the same, caring individuals they used to be. People's heads, emotions, and hearts are different. Might've been not what you meant, but it's something that's happening everywhere. "I don't care if I mess up my marriage or my kid's lives- I want to cheat on my significant other", "I don't care if I screw my band over, I want to get high"- people don't care about each other much anymore.

I just called the American Airlines Center in Dallas where Van Halen is scheduled to play tonight, and they said the SHOW IS ON for tonight. When I tried to argue with the guy, he said that they are aware of all the "rumors" of a tour cancellation, but that they have been given NO OFFICIAL WORD to tell people that the show is off.

If that show is off, they are going to have an angry mob of pissed-off mother fuckers at their doorstep tonight.

Now the American Airlines Center is saying that the Dallas show is postponed until April 24, and that the tour is not cancelled - just this show. They said an official press release with rescheduled dates should follow soon...

Here we go again, round and round on the rollercoaster. What a fucking joke!

I saw this on the VHlinks forum:

http://music.hollyscoop.com/van-halen/van-halen-cancels-tour_452.aspx

At the bottom of this article it says that this could be due to Wolfie having a busted hand?

WTF? Was he pounding the pencil too hard or what?

Next thing you know they're going to say Alex broke his fucking neck again. This is insane!

I'm going with Andrew on this one. Done..not cancelled for now. Only a couple of sources are down right coming out and saying this tour is DONE..not just postponed..Andrew being one of them.

When TMZ reported this..no one was quite buying it..when Andrew reports something..people believe it.

Wow..they are still giving new dates for cancelled shows and selling tickets..

So I guess this is all bull. There are so many sources out there that we should be able to trust that are saying that the tour is postponed..not canceled...this being one of them..

Billboard "the tour is not cancelled" Profile Pm Email Search Buddy IP

Sources: Van Halen Tour Not Being Canceled
Van Halen

March 03, 2008, 2:00 PM ET

Ray Waddell, Nashville
Despite reports to the contrary, sources with Van Halen tell Billboard the band's tour is not being canceled, though tonight's (March 3) scheduled show at the American Airlines Center in Dallas has been postponed and rescheduled for March 24.

Three other dates have been postponed for undisclosed reasons. The source says the outing picks up on March 11 in Charlottesville, W.V., and a press release regarding the tour's status will be coming within 24 hours.

Van Halen returned to the road last fall with original lead singer David Lee Roth for the first time in 20-plus years. The tour, which features Eddie Van Halen's teenage son Wolfgang on bass, has routinely sold out North American arenas.

The current schedule has shows booked through April 25 in Sacramento, Calif. Van Halen is also slated to perform six days earlier at Tiger Woods' Tiger Jam in Las Vegas

My guess is that TicketMaster is not prepared to give refunds yet, and they don't want their phone lines getting swamped all at once. They are probably "postponing" dates until they can get their shit together and make an official announcement.
