Anyway...because you're too lazy and dishonest to try and support the claim you are making...I'm going to hunt down that quote myself. Bear with me...

Do it. Check Dean's blog too while ur at it.

For the record, I'm not trying to demonize them. They do very well w/that themselves. But carry on kissing their asses.

Okay, Susie...I've found one quote....

"Case in point - a big record label in Europe approached the band after seeing the JSS ronted UK shows. They wanted the band on board, they were impressed by the new energy and felt there was something there to promote. They even met with management. Huge fans of JSS. How do I know this - the LABEL told me so."

So the label took an interest...but no evidence of an actual formal offer so far.

There was another quote I remember which said that talks suggested that the deal might be bigger than the one offered by Frontiers for Generations. But that isn't surprising given that Generations was given away free in the US and received no mainstream release until Sanctuary agreed to distribute it. Or have I got that wrong?

Also - if the UK office of the major label was such a huge fan of JSS...then how come they haven't signed him up anyway? After all, the Journey name means virtually nothing in the UK so why was the name so crucial to the potential deal? Or was it simply a worldwide distribution deal and Journey had to pay all the recording costs?

Anyway..whichever way you look at it...this is all a far cry from major American record companies bidding against each other for the band's signature. The JSS line up wasn't quite the hot ticket we all hoped it would be, unfortunately...

Maybe you'll take that into account the next time you start one of your shrill tirades against Schon and Cain?

What? Matty, read what's bolded. Does everything have to be spelled out to u for u to get it? I know ur not very smart, but really.

For all we know the band could have been offered a 40oz. and a jawbreaker to sign. Not exactly a great deal!

Saying they "wanted the band on board" and actually putting a formal offer on the table are two different things.

There's 2-in-a-row JRox ,come on can't you top your own tempemantal compulsive fighting and rip off about 8-10 screamy posts in a row?

Jesus, you started turning your blazing Manson lamps your ally in this thread FireWings up there just in CASE he was siding with me on something. You're like the scorpion who stung the turtle who was giving the scorpion a ride across the the river to safety and when asked by turtle Fire "why? Now we'll both drown," you said, "Can't help it, it's what I do."

Ugh, you got me JourneyRox! I do have faith in Christ cuz of the change he made inside of me. Can I prove he is the Son of God? No, I can't. You have faith in Soto led Journey and the multi-million dollar deal you say they were offered and turned down  You got me!

We know how much Schon loves cash, why would he turn down a boat load of cash? A 40 oz. and a jaw breaker was probably closer to what they were offered. Common sense would tell you that. You're letting your grudge w/ the band get in the way of it. I couldn't care less either way.

That's a whole 'nother debate and one that you would lose. Well, since you never admit defeat in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary, I guess you probably really never do lose in your own mind.

I'm sick? That's what Red13 just did. Read what he said about me criticizing my churchgoing stepfather who raped me.

Point the finger where it belongs Dave, not at me.

What were u like before u found Christ? Now ur insulting & argumentative & love to put people down every chance u get, belittle them, make urself feel superior.

Where did I insult you or put you or anyone else down in this thread? Anywhere on this forum in fact? I'd love to see it. Argumentative? Okay, I don't go along just to fit in, I don't care to conform. Nothing anti-Christian about that.
