 Nevermind....Had trouble getting in this morning though, so it might have been down earlier.

And you're right, it's time for a site update, at least to the opening page, anyway.

NO, not YOU Rock'ndeano. It's all this fucking whining wha..wha lately and the freaking tour hasn't even started yet and the CD hasn't even been released yet...and already the usuals are predicting their failures.

Can you express yourself without resorting to swearing. You wouldn't be allowed to swear on that other site, so pretend you are there when you post here.

Thank you.

If swearing bothers you than leave. Everyone love's the fact that Andrew allows almost ALL forms of free speech. Even Andrew swears on this site...and pretty much for the same reason Jetster is...FRUSTRATION! Many of your posts here are no more palatable simply because you do not swear in them.

Swearing is a sign of someone with a limited vocabulary. The front of the this Journey message board states No personal attacks either.

By being a "nice person" on one site, while swearing on this site is hypocritical.

My posts are honest opinions about Journey. You know my posts would never be allowed on the other sugar-coated message board. Journey can't even pick good venues while touring, and they have been a band for 32 years???? They need better management.

Dave, are you ashamed of having a picture of a one-hit-wonder band?

Andrew should also put on the front of this board: NO DUMBSHITS allowed. That would get troll out.

Please Please Please Andrew...Make a U2 Board so someone can go gush at all the U2 garbage... I'll pay you 30 bucks...

You are still personally attacking me. Let's talk about Journey honestly.

It CAN be a sign of someone with a limited vocabulary. However, I assure you that I am no such person. And if you will recall, NC was actually asked to dumb down his posts so others could understand them. Sadly, on message boards, you tend to communicate to the lowest common denominator.

JourneyTroll wrote:The front of the this Journey message board states No personal attacks either.

So quit instigating people.

JourneyTroll wrote:By being a "nice person" on one site, while swearing on this site is hypocritical.

You can be a nice person and still swear.
You can be an Asshole and not swear.

And remember, YOU were banned from the other site WITHOUT swearing there. So what does that make you? Apparantly an asshole but not a hypocrit. Fair enough.

And before you start crying about a personal attack...I said "apparantly", I did not say that you ARE an asshole.

JourneyTroll wrote:My posts are honest opinions about Journey.

So why do you waste your energy constantly complaining about a band you do not like? What is the point?

JourneyTroll wrote:You know my posts would never be allowed on the other sugar-coated message board.

I know that NONE of your posts are allowed on that site...you were banned.

JourneyTroll wrote:Journey can't even pick good venues while touring, and they have been a band for 32 years????

Journey has played ALL kinds of venues in Denver accept the Pepsi Center. Only today's current 'top darlings' get into the Pepsi Center. They have played Red Rocks several times. You will remember that Red Rocks is integral in the career of U2. It is THE preferred venue in /around Denver. And it was the U2 Live at Red Rocks video/ep that showcased U2 and exposed them to the world. Without Red Rocks U2 may not have acheived the same level of success.

At times I agree with this point. What is a shame is that Perry was the reason Journey switched to Azoff Management. But there is no reason why Journey could not change this. I am just not sure there is anyone else out there that wants to take on managing a band that has had so many obstacles in the past and wants to continue into the future. Managing a nostalgia act that only wants to tour is easy. Managing a current band with music, videos, radio and touring is relatively easy. Managing a 'nostalgia' band who wants to put out new music and tour is not easy. There is no radio or video outlet for a band like Journey (other than VH1Classic). Journey is not an easy band to manage...

I was banned when many people went sniveling to the moderators. I was discussing Journey and their fans, and they couldn't or wouldn't accept the truth.

You have to agree with me that their a "seniority clique" on the other message board. My opinion angered one of them, and that person had me banned. However, my opinion turned out to be fact. If one of the "favorites" discussed Journey the way I did, then that person would not have been banned.

Nice people know how to express themselves without personally attacking them. I am discussing Journey without putting down anyone.

Face it. Our discussions are more interesting than over the site. You have made the choice to discuss the issues here.

Not true. It was not "many". Much of it had to do with yourreputation preceding you. And that brings up the whole issue of you and your anti-personal attacks stance. I remember when you first joined the VH1 boards (and later, this one) and you did nothing but attack people like Samisosa98 and Christopher based on their weight. You were merciless and unrelenting! You wonder why people do not take your posts seriously? You wonder why people are so quick to 'personally attack' YOU?

JourneyTroll wrote:You have to agree with me that their a "seniority clique" on the other message board.

Not seniority...otherwise I would not have been so close to being banned. And Monker would not have been suspended. There are definately cliques, but only a select few are 'safe' based on their 'status'. And that status has nothing to do with their seniority.

JourneyTroll wrote:My opinion angered one of them, and that person had me banned.

It has nothing to do with 'favorites' vs. you. It has to do with your reputation. No matter how hard you try, you will never change your reputation from the mean and hateful sewage you spewed.

JourneyTroll wrote:Nice people know how to express themselves without personally attacking them. I am discussing Journey without putting down anyone.

That is true. I enjoy the back and forth, and the arguing. But I also do not get my panties in a wad over the swearing, or even the attacks. I only address the 'attacks' in an effort to keep this board fun...actually, in an effort to keep this board from being closed again.

Dave, I was a member of the other board under another name and got banned for discussing some of the fans weight issues. Several of the peopel got me banned.

I later joined VH1 and became Journeytroll and yes, I enjoyed personally attacking many of the people that got me banned. Along with Joe, we made a great team of trolls. We had people afraid to post any information on that site. I did register under the name of that other board Journeytroll and was banned through my IP address. I do post on that board occasionally using a different IP location. However, that was then. This is now. I haven't personally attacked anyone in a long time.

Then, there is a "favorites clique" on the other board. You know who most of them are.

I'm through attacking Journey. They did nothing to me, so let them put out a studio album. Let them tour wherever they want. Maybe they will be inducted in the rock hall of fame. They have many talents that I could only dream of having.

I know you don't believe me but.....
