More people do like it then don't, but what I find interseting is how you either like it or you don't. There is no real middle ground here. Personally, I think it makes sense for two reasons. You have some fans who will just refuse to like it. And this CD has such a wide array of styles and influences that it will make everyone react differently. It makes sense that what works for one, does not for another. Personally, I LOVE that!

Nope, NIG.
Just saying what it had to have been. Does Neal seem like the suitcoat type to you? Come on, he's the Mike Tyson circa '88 of rock. His look is all business and no pomp. Well, except for the pic Deano unearthed of him in Richie Sambora's hat.

The loons? They don't want to come at me. My first-round knockout of JTool was a just a warning.

Seems to me that fans of classic Journey like it, and fans of Frontiers and ROR Journey don't.

You would think "Frontiers", with it's experimental side, would not fit into your description. Most 'classic' Journey fans seem to not like "Frontiers" as much because of side 2. But side 2 is precisely the reason I love "Frontiers". And "Frontiers" seems to be an equivelent to "Generations" to me because of the same feel...adventurous. I would say the only difference is the fromat...because "Frontiers" was released on vinyl, Journey could split it into two distinct sides. Whereas CDs, being continuous, create the need to mix it all up.

Well, I mean people who think of Frontiers as "Separate Ways" and "Send Her My Love". Those are the people who need 3 minute hits, which GENERATIONS does not offer. It's a rock CD.
