"Steve Perry has a voice that's so brilliant - he blends his Sam Cooke R&B vibe with his angelic voice to create an awesome etheric sound"

...keep checking those Caveman ramblings....Perry and Journey come up ever so often

He seems to know what it is that makes Perry inimitable.

But do you wonder what the bad blood between them is?

Not really. I can't do anything about any bad blood between any of them. That's all dirty water under the bridge. It's all about the voice and music that I love. :D

Show the quote in it's actual context, please.
The reknownedly capricious Steve Perry is mad at Shirley and so Shirley is attempting to make amends via flattery on his personal website.

Funny how Perry fans now prop Shirley up. At one time they mail bombed him and he got so fed up that he removed his the Journey/Perry comments from his site.

He has ALWAYS said such things on his site...But, he also thinks Perry is a bit of an oddball.

Didn't Kevin once say that Perry was afraid of touring, that his voice could not hold up.

Yes, thank you, Kevcat, for staying right CLEAR of Generations....
They should not do a record without the Elson/Fraser tandem again. It's night and day.
