It was another great game down to the wire.
I think Steve needs to go to Houston for them to keep the luck going.

That was a great game. A lot of heart out of both teams. In what has to be some of the worst weather.
And it's on to game 3.

I can't believe Lidge is blowing games all the sudden....Where were those hangers agains the Phillies, brad?
If the 'Stros want back in this thing they must adopt Journey's In Self Defense and do it post-haste. That is the attitude, courtesy of Neal, that they will need to deploy from here on out. Perfect antidote to DSB.

Ame 2 was as good a game as you'll ever see...World Series or otherwise.
The Astros are in a hole, but need not panic. The series heads to Houston now. Not only are the Astros tough at home, but Oswalt has looked very good of late.
The Red Sox came back from 3-0....the Astros can SURELY come back.

Oswalt's untouchable right now. his mix of stuff, command, control, velocity, and guts hasn't been around since Clemens/Johnson were in their primes....

What are you talking about Red???? You are WAY off on this one....
You're actually questioning Oswalt's guts????
Have you WATCHED any of the postseason games???

I wasn't trying to be. I'm asking a legitimate question because if you're questioning Oswalt's guts or postseason play, I don't know where you are coming from. You don't have to be an Astros fans to admire the postseason he has had so far....

OK.
When I say that among other things he has guts the likes of which I haven't seen since Clemens/Johnson were in their bulldog primes, I'm paying him a compliment for having guts Joe.
He goes right at hitters all the time, no matter what the situation.

SUGAR don't you think you're going just a bit overboard there.

Steve didn't solicit this attention you know. If he hadn't shown up you guys would have been saying what a shit he was for not doing it.

Ooops. My mistake Red. I read your post wrong. Sorry. Oh, and I completely agree with your original post....
Oswalt is one tough bird!
