I'll admit it. I have a soft spot for the so-sappy-i'm developing-ovaries-as-I-listen-to-it, "I'm Not That Way".

Your turn.

Maybe froy was talking about, "When I Think of You." Sounded gayer than a three dollar bill.

No and no. Not suitably gay enough, NIG.
SHML is a classic, no shame in listening to that.
I'm talking about a song so gay that you look twice before turning up the radio.

LOL. Say what you will, it's still one of the more tolerable tracks on ROR.

I have to say I really like Postive Touch also, but can do without the sax solo. Who's idea was it to put a fucking saxophone solo in a Journey song? Really the end of that song is what saves it...The "eyes of blue, goodbye yesterday," refrain. And whatever Perry did in the studio during ROR allowed him to hit some of the highest full-voice notes of his career. The last "yestaaaaahhhdayayayay" of Positive Touch, the last "Ever" during WCTNGOF, etc etc...

I kind of like the Sax solo. I wished it was used more in Journey tunes.

The bassline is great on Positive Touch, but what I really like is Randy's spandex and pink bass. Is that gay enough?

Good thing they never collided
Now watch out Steve red lights turning blue
No traffic light but you better move aside
Case a wide load's coming through

All I can say is better pink guitar
than pink spandex

:P

ROR has some catchy special songs
but its hard to get into the new beats

Once You love somebody
The drums are kind of taking a different direction
starting with the kick 4/4 and the snare off beat
the bass seems to be filling it was appears to be a typical rock bass drum beat
It's kind of confusing
I'll say thats the gayest as it has that dance fever sort of feel heart thumping feel except its slower

Not in place of guitar solos mind you, but sax music with rock music is an awesome combination.

I guess I'm partial to saxaphones because I used to be a sax player many years ago. There was a song back in the early 1980's, if I remember correctly, intitled "Never" that had an awesome saxaphone part in the song. I thought the song rocked because of the sax part. I can't remember who the artist was that performed the song, but I used to listen to that song all the time from a tape my brother had made of various artists. Problem is, he never wrote down the name of the artists! :?

I think this song came from an old 80's movie, maybe flashdance? I dunno. I would like to get a copy of this song if it is floating around on the net.

For those of you who think a sax doesn't work, look at Clarence Clemons just rip it up on some of Bruce's best songs...They mix it up beautifully in that band..
