Journey are playing the Manchester Apollo on 5th June ....... other UK and European dates to be confirmed.....

Nothing on bands official site yet but its happening.

Nothing is ever confirmed on the "official" site FIRST. What would be the point in that? Going to the band's official site to get the news first???? Puh-leeze!

So the Manchester Apollo does not sound like a Festival gig.

LOL...I'm convinced that Pollstar knows where the bands are going to be playing before the bands do.

No the Apollo is a 3000 capacity venue....seating upstairs standing downstairs ......great venue...very intimate and great sound.

ive been told its an all seated show.

tickets..37-00 and 39-00.
not cheap.........but worth it

See, that sounds AWESOME. But I was under the impression that Journey was ONLY doing festivals. I am glad to hear that they are going to do some small shows too. Maybe you will get the 3 hour gig!!

Sounds very similar to the Warfield in San Francisco.

Wehey! I thought it was a long trip just for a 45 minute set at the Monsters Of Rock gig! I suspect London's Hammersmith Apollo will be announced soon too!

Where did you hear the scoop about Manchester, Darren?

also playing EDINBURGH PLAYHOUSE on june 2nd.Dont know how much EDINBURGH holds but is similar to MANCHESTER.

just booked my tickets for EDINBURGH 5th row from the front.Excitement is building up already.Told that concert starts at 8.00pm. :D

Manchester is now SOLD OUT and Edinburgh is not far behind.Hope the guys are informed of this and realise they do have a large fanbase in England
