Time for them to respond as it could hurt concert sale for those "on the fence."

wikipedia isn't exactly a haven of facts, considering the info over there is unchecked info written by users of the service, adn not actual compiled fact. They've had their chops "busted" many times for having very non factual info on the site.

Though I agree, if radio stations where they haven't played yet are carrying the info, true or not, it's gonna hurt them in the long run, maybe even short run.

I agree with that about Wikipedia.
But you see, good or bad,Wiki is a source of info for a lot of people, and suppose someone wants to find out more about who is Steve Augeri could look it up in Wikipedia.Having that info added to his profile is not something to be proud of.

The fact is the more places it's reported the more people will see it. What they do with that info is then up to them.

oh I agree, I've had things said about me by people in my life that weren't true, but that doesnt' mean other people woulnd't believe them. It's a guilty until proven innocent country we live in now (U.S.), has been for a long time. But if the people who are supposed to be innocent don't do anything to prove they are, then they will always be guilty to some people. That's very unfortunate.

well i do agree what you said. i also think that beyond the guilt and innocence is just the fact that as a band they would be concerned about what their fans are thinking and speculating about their lead singer. i don't think any one should think they are too above reproach not to acknowledge what people are saying about them true or not. doesn't make you look guilty just makes you look like you are concerned and that is a good thing.

IF it's all true, and IF they stated "yes we did it, please forgive us", then at least it would end MUCH of the speculation. Certainly not all though.
