I was over at my other fave site, and I downloaded another Journey concert boot from 1983. The poster said that this song is a bit different than what we are used to. So I uploaded it and here is the link.................

it is quite sped up from the normal speed. It's in a higher key and faster tempo. Perry sounds like a mouse...lol. I must say I haven't heard this one before.

Damn girl, the man can sing, love it! Thanks a bunch..........my all-time fav Journey song! It does seem a little high. That song seems to show up more on Frontiers concerts than Escape concerts.......wonder why?

You're welcome, Deb ! This concert I just downloaded is more complete than the Nagoya 83 I already have. And I dunno why "Still They Ride" shows up more on Frontiers shows than Escape. Only Perry knows the answer to that !

Damn, add it to the list of "things I should have asked him" Maybe it took them a bit to realize it was a fan favorite........must say though, that song has to be damn hard to perform night after night after night.
