This is to JSS or anyone affliated with Journey, have they started preparing another revised schedule for the U.S. to continue the tour.To possibly tour cities that have not been scheduled as of this tour?Shouldn't Journey strike while the irons are hot?

Personally, I'm tired of the constant touring. It makes for shitty, half-ass albums. Red 13 and Generations are perfect examples of that. They need to get in a studio for several months and put together a great album. One where all members are present and "into it" 100%. They have potential if, and only if, they don't do another uninspired rush job. Generations sounded like it was put together during a weekend of drinking. And its popularity and sales figures prove that. Guys, bury yourselves in the studio for awhile, hire a good producer and collectively create what we WERE used to.....a great Journey album. Then, tour in SUPPORT of the album. Something that hasn't been done in over 20 years.

My speculation.....

Since they are trying to re-invent themselves, I think they will give themselves one last big push.
After the cricket-chirping reception given to "Arrival", the band became seriously dissuaded from investing in new Journey music (both creatively & financially).

"Arrival" was their opportunity to endear themselves back into the mainstream and it failed them.

They will try their hand at re-invention yet again.
If the next album bellyflops equally as dismally, expect the band to resume their disinterest in all further Journey musical enterprises.
Remember, after "Arrival" tanked, Cain talked of only releasing the sporadic EP from there on out.

There are many culprits who *could* be blamed (Sony, Kalodner, 80's stigma, Neal, Jon, bad timing etc) - that's why I intentionally left it nebulous.

Not sure why you would hoist it all onto one or the other.

Don't forget Napster.
