1980, the Departure tour.
To me, this was Journey at their peak as a live band.
Perry's vocals were absolutely untouchable, and the band was so tight even though they strectched out (playing wise) quite a bit more than any tour after this point.

Rolie, Smith, Valory, Schon and Perry during the Departure Tour. Now that would be worth repairing the flux capacitor in the DeLorean for.

1. What is your all-time favorite video? After The Fall but I don't really know why. Just something about Perry's dancing in it & him. He drives me nuts in that one. I just wanna hug him real bad.

2. What song do you consider the most "feel good" song? Any Way You Want It. It's just a real fun song.

3. What song tugs at your heart-strings the most? Winds of March is so incredibly beautiful it gets me every time. But Someday Soon b/c that's when I'll see Dad again & he loved the song so much. Sorry I can't pick just one.

4. What is Journey's sexiest song (lyrics and/or beat)? Good Morning Girl. As a 15 yr old I imagined Perry singing that to me in the morning (& well ever since then too)...ok I'll leave the story there :shock:

5. Pick one Journey hidden-treasure song (song that wasn't one of their top hits)? Mother Father. It's just an amazing song.

6. If you could go back in time and go to a Journey concert in any era, which era would it be? 1980 Departure & I'd bring my Dad. We'd rock out & love it.
