Thanks for the video, JSS voice seems too fit that song to perfection !!!!

I must have been sitting almost right above you we had almost the same vantage point except we could see a bit of the video screens. It was good to see them use those screen for more than window media images.

Yeah it was really really amazing. He was soooo perfect on that stage & he made it all look sooooooo easy. We know those songs are NOT easy. But just like Perry did, Jeff nails them & comes on back & does the next one. He just looks so relaxed up there too. I mean he's having fun, but this is not a challenge for him at all. I never thought I'd be so excited over any singer in Journey other than my Portuguese God, but I gotta tell you, Jeff is truly awesome.

Wow what an amazing performance, it is so great hearing this song being sung live, and kicking ass again! It's been put away for way too long.

I hope they do this one in Baltimore tomorrow as well!

Can you post this on MySpace too, so we can add it to our profiles? LOVE IT! I couldn't believe it when I saw that song on their setlist in Little Rock. Was AMAZING. I am SO happy to see some "new old stuff" pulled out for play!

Mean!!

Seriously though, you can't make a bad singer sound good with Pro Tools. At best you can make them sound like a robot. lol

And I don't think you can use it live. It's purely for post production work.

With all the tweaking, editing and corrections you can make in ProTools, you can make a decent singer sound amazing...
Listen to any recent recordings of someone like Vince Neil :)
As for it purely being for Post-Production...
Exactly...
as in 'canned vocals' for a 'live' performance...

Completely agree. And might I add that Autotune is used way waaaaay to too much in today's pop music. Bleh.
