Does anyone think it's possible has JSS has spread himself too thinly across too many projects over the years? A bit like Neal who - it could be argued - has gone for quantity over quality since Journey split up in '87?

Does anyone think it is possible that Jeff just has so much talent that he has to have many outlets to express himself?!!

There's a lot going on in that Lady Marmalade video...that one guy lost his pants. :) I like this disco song, in fact, I like a lot of disco songs from that time, makes me wanna dance! Jeff can pull off these (songs, I mean).

Don't wanna open a different thread for the next one,so here it is...
No more disco, that's for sure! :)

It's a very young Jeff,I barely recognized him (he looks 1000 better and hotter today! 8) ),on tour with Malmsteen in Japan.
The annoying thing is that the guy who shot this was obviously a YM fan, however you can catch a glimpse of JSS running all over the stage.

He had such a powerful voice and he was what?20 -21?

Jeff's disco stuff is always fun to watch!! I love the way he can pull off any style of music. His versatility is what makes him a 'star', to me anyway... 8)

Maybe I've seen too many clips of JSS doing high-grade karaoke recently....plus cover versions on audio as well (I even came across a version of Iron Maiden's "Aces High" last night...)

"Believe In Me" is a great orginal track...and I like "Mysterious" by Talisman and that Soul Sirkus track that sounds a bit like Kashmir by Led Zep...but so far I can't quite tell whether JSS has his own unique sound...or is primarily a versatile but generic vocalist for hire.

Anyway...I'm still finding out about JSS so maybe I'll see the light like so many people have here. But I've yet to hear anything that comes close to "Believe In Me" and that was mainly written by Schon anyway, wasn't it?
