For those who don't know, the guitarist that plays most, if not all, of the solos for Christmas act TSO (Trans-Siberian Orchestra) is Al Pitrelli. Typically, his style is fairly melodic, kind of like Neal, but this one is more of a metal, shred-fest, to some degree, anyway. Enjoy...

Al Pitrelli is awesome. This is a cool coincidence; I was just listening to clips of the TSO. :)

He was great in Megadeth too. Had to step into some very big shoes.

Yes, in this particular clip but in his time with Savatage, he tends to play much more melodically. If you get a chance, listen to the "Dead Winter Dead" album. There are a lot of great melodic solos on that album.

Got his CPR record, his playing is quite impressing. He played also on Asia - Aria record, a rocker.
Brilliant guitarist and great choice as usual by Mr. Conversationpc.

Cheers 8)

He also played on the "Aqua" album, which is one of their better albums, in my opinion.
