I know plenty of you probably have this, but not everyone collects JRNY videos.

So here you go - "Winds of March" June 9th 1978 in MPEG4 video. Complete song. PRO SHOT. Perry at the top of his game.

http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?a ... 120B9B5484

It's a really big file (145 MB) and you will have to log into yousendit if you want it. So if you already have the show, certainly I wouldn't bother with it. But I thought some might not have seen it.

Just felt like posting something.

I have this entire show - it's one that I had to have...great stuff - esp. WOM! If only I was obsessed back then, I probably could've been at that show. :(

Yes, I got it from dimeadozen and silverblue & Classicrocklady have it, as I'm sure plenty of others. Good stuff.

This is one of the greatest early Journey show out there. I love the bluesy numbers they do. It's a prime example of the unique qualities of Steve Perry's vocals.

(I would upload some but it's on VHS and I'm on dialup. :( )

I'd love to get this on video. There is a market for this within the fanbase, Steve P. needs to get it out.

I agree.

However, we don't really know who holds the rights to it. Sometimes when bands perform on certian shows they do not necessarily have or own the rights to the performance.

Good question for Kalodner and SP I would think.

AR,

I believe that PBS holds the rights to this Soundstage show. I think PBS does sell some of its Soundstage shows, but this one with Journey hasn't been offered for sale. :D

First post so be nice to me. I'm currently seeding the PBS Soundstage show on dimeadozen.org so if you want to download it head off to their site. I will keep it on my HD for another few weeks at least. :P
