I look at it this way, much of the time I spend on the net is time I'd just be watching TV anyway. The net is more interactive. Just another form of entertainment.

Had it not been for the internet, I wouldn't have 'met' some of the ultra cool people that I have 'met,' so I am an internet junkie, too. Besides, there isn't anything worth watching on TV....unless it's football season. :P

I was in a wheel chair for 3 1/2 yrs and so it was a great diversion to therapy. Ebay, MR and YouTube ++++ more . I think You Tube finally gave me my junkie status.

More than anything I tend to get addicted to eBay every once in a while! I find so many great things on there & it gets delivered to your door! With 2 little kids (one being Special Needs) I don't get to go antique hunting like I used to - so I do it on eBay. I do check the Journey/SP forums just about every day - god forbid, I should miss something important! :) I rely on the posters on these forums to let me know about youtube videos, boots & stuff to check out cuz I don't tend to surf.

Yeah, I am an internet junkie, but like I said in Voyager's other thread........ I turn it on when I wake up....... check the forums and boot site........... then I leave the computer alone for a few hours............ check the forums and boot site again......... leave it alone for a few hours........... then check again before going to bed........

Well, I am not sure. Maybe I am but maybe I am not. I can't be the judge of that.

LOL

Seriously, though. I'd go along with AR's response. However, the difference being I absolutely HATE TV.. Well, except for sports, Raymond, That 70's show and sometimes Reba.. ohh.. and Flip That House!

I have given this some thought over night and I don't think I am. The whole time I am on the internet I am watching TV also. So I'm just positive I don't have this problem. Oh, but maybe that means I am addicted to both. I need to think about this some more.

Ditto. I see no difference between doing this and watching TV for entertainment. In fact this may be more intellectually stimulating because we're interacting with people instead of just watching them.

I work in IT, so I literally have the internet up all day at work for one reason or another, and I find time to check this site and a handful of others several times during the day. When I get home, after the kids are in bed - I grab the laptop and mess around while we watch TV. Internet junkie? Yes.

I was bad during tapegate. Had my laptop on vacation and made sure to read this site every day.
