Just a suggestion here but what if the boss man opened another forum just for the purpose of people going in to settle the little arguments that happen here. Then the major forums like this one don't look like somebody dropped a nuke on it and people coming in to lurk see the happy place we all know it is.

I'll admit, I was as guilty as anyone for the bombs being thrown yesterday. And since it happens really regularly, I thought it wouldn't be a bad idea to have a spot where the warring parties could go and throw down until it's over.

Great idea, because what topics in this board end up turning into do not reflect the message of Journey.
If this forum wasn't titled 'Journey' , would you think it was about a musical group that produced songs with a good message.

People fight where they want to fight...telling them they need to fight in a certain board will have one of two effects...

Everyone will stop coming to the regular board because they know nothing saucy will happen at the regular board...or they wont bother taking it to the 'fight board' because the fight board isn't as worthwhile as the main board.

The fact of the matter is that when you over-specialize a board where everyone's just looking to talk about rock music or journey....and you start getting into really-fucking-gay-ass forum titles like "Lay It Down" and "The Wiggle Room"...it takes away from the group atmosphere...
