Hey girl, put down the Crab and Chowder bowl for a minute and help me out.

Find out where all those stage setups went from the Escape/Frontier and ROR days would you. Elaborate to be sure. I know certain artists wanted them, but never could pinpoint where they went. I know Bryan Adams wanted the Lighting system, but he doesn't use the trusses so somebody has them, or do they?

Why couldn't Azoff break that out of storage(if it is unsold), and update it, and use it nowadays?

I am talking the major lighting core setup, not the huge sunglasses used for the side stage setup on ROR outdoor venues.

It has to be better than the current Lite-Brite ste, and Windows Media entertainment package being used.

I say Journey should hire Yulog and have that fucking genius devise new shit to put on the videos.

That Frontiers rig absolutely blew the whole thing apart. Nobody had done that before. I remember it like it was yesterday...

yeah, i was a bit underwhelmed with the production on the last tour too. i don't think the stuff from the 80's exist anymore. maybe some of the pieces were incorporated into other sets or maybe some of it ended up in dekalb. i have no idea. technology has way surpassed those set-ups anyway. LEDs seem to be the in thing now.

oh, that wasn't very entertaining, was it? ok, how's this: nocturne sold all the pieces to a construction company in new york. some of the lighting trusses were used as additional support beams in the stairwells of the world trade center. those trusses ended up saving the lives of the firemen that were trapped in the stairwell. better?

btw, i'm allergic to shellfish.

Yeah I know. I meant to say Pacific Salmon.

I know the lighting would be archaic, but the system, the motor drives and such were cool. Maybe Herbie took the motors home to operate a special "feeding table" to bring the triple cheeseburgers up to his mouth?
