I found this on Steve Lukather's website : http://www.stevelukather.net/Article.aspx?id=42

Here is an excerpt of what it says :

" I have had a "mystery guest?" hanging at the studio alot lately. I wont say who BUT he is a VERY famous singer that used to be in a HUGE American band and he hasn't done anything in years. Good to see him again and he has taken a shine to Trevor, my son, and Trev is being courted by 2 major labels for his music. "

A few names come to mind : Peter Cetera, Steve Perry, Don Henley,....

Any other guesses....??

Yeah, yeah..I know...but what else can I possibly do in fuckin Louisville, KY..????

Cheers

That's cool that Luke has been hanging with David Cassidy but I think we should wait before fanning the flames of a Partiridge Family reunion. Shirley Jones is a little too old for a full U.S. tour.

I'll give you that much, and natural for the most part. It's the Frosted blondes that make the "mid-western south" look bad in people's eyes. I know, I'm 6 hours from Lousiville.

BTW, I'm predicting Cetera too.

6 hrs..? In which direction..?

I haven't a fuckin clue about the US....I have been travelling thru many cities the past 3 weeks....Dallas, Pittsburgh, Denver, Cincinnati, Louisville, Indiana, and back to Pittsburgh for my final stretch next week before heading back to Asia, home sweet home... :)

I have lost track of the day, and date....

After some time, it's the "Same hotel, same old room....

C'mon...u saw that coming right..?

of course, I always see "it" coming, except when I have my eyes closed.

I'm in St. Louis. Let me know the day you're flying out, and I'll look up in the sky and wave to ya.

I was gonna travel to Singapore a few years ago, until I thought better of being on airplanes for 27 hours, not to mention customs checks and layovers. Much respect for people who can sit still that long.

27 hours...??? Not really....

Take a flight to Newark, and from there, Singapore Airlines has a direct flight, I mean DIRECT flight, into Singapore in 19 hrs, non stop...! It's a one-of-a-kind flight, between coach and business, called the "Executive Economy"....

And how do I know this...? I have been on that flight before during my last trip here summer '06....

And I live in the country that's just beside Singapore...

you dork! You took the EASY way there. I was totally routing through San Fancisco, Tokyo (or was it Nagano?) and then down to Singapore. 8 hours makes a difference! (not really, still too long to fly). I'd be thrown in jail for spitting my gum out, or just plain spitting probably, so it's better off I stay in this country. (even though a city near me is making spitting illegal, though it's ok to smoke in a restaurant. go figure)

Of course, I remember Mork...

The 1st time I flew into US, that was the route I took....S'pore - Narita (Japan ) - Frisco....fuck....I swore to myself I'd rather go blow a fag in a gay bar than to take that flight again..!!

Nowadays I fly direct....

My vote's on Perry. He's said that he likes hanging around studios. Makes sense to me.

I have to admit, Perry fits the bill here. Hope it's true.
