OT: Twins Update

I was at the doctor's today and am very pleased to announce that the fluid levels in each amniotic sack are normal. Basically this means that Wyatt, the little one, is keeping his blood rather that donating it to his brother and Trevor is only receiving what he needs. The surgery really did wonders. It was at today's visit that I was told how difficult my case was and how lucky we were that the disease was caught when it was. I'm glad I didn't know this last week ;).

We are watching the condition of Trevor's heart. He developed thickening and reverse flow in the right ventrical- classic symptoms resulting from TTTS. We will see the fetal cardiologist at Children's Hospital May 25 for an updated diagnosis and have no reason not to believe Trevor's heart will repair itself.

As for the fun stuff: While observing the boys in their environment we saw their respsective male parts, Dean is a proud papa today, LOL  .

We are so thankful to you all for keeping us in your thoughts and for keeping Wyatt and Trevor in your prayers. I'm feeling very fortunate these days.

Thank you all.

Lula

Thats fantastic, Lula! I know little Trevor is going to come along just fine too. He cant help to with so many people pulling for him and with strong hearts coming from momma and poppa and with his brother in there to hold his hand. I continue to keep you in my thoughts. I know you are going to have 2 fine, healthy, baby boys. Keep doing as the doctor orders and take care of yourself. :D

I never had tears in my eyes for a good reason ever before. Today was magical.

I love my girlfriend and my two unborn sons.

I know prayers work and with todays medicine your worries should be lessened. My daughter will have Nick in 7 wks so I feel some apprehension too,but nothing to the maginitude you have had to deal with during the last months. Take care !
