It wasn't that bad. In those days it would have been something different. I am amazed at how Perry knew what to do with that song .I mean with his duets with the guitar changed Journey songs.

I saw Robert at the HOB after the HWOF sing this and it was fun to see. Not something everyone got to see. Not something everyone wants to see, but still it was fun..

Thanks, Robert!

I have "Wheel In The Sky" and "Winds Of March" with Fleischman singing lead vocals. Journey did a show in Honolulu, Hawaii on 7-4-77. :D

Yep, Fleischman did. I also have said show on video too. It is in black and white, and has some glitches in it, but still interesting to watch. :D

Thanks for the link. It's interesting to hear but I can't say I really like it much. If I'd never heard the Perry version this one may not sound as bad to me. I don't know. I'm just glad Perry joined.

I heard this before and my first thought was that if Robert would have stayed maybe Journey would have been another Skid Row or something.

"We wanted a screamer, not a crooner"...or something to that effect.

I can't say that I enjoyed that version.
Fleischman's falsetto is hard to listen to.

No worries but a big thanks to Shania who I got that from in a trade. So thanks. Shania

I thought it was interesting to hear him sing WITS and then we all know what the song became.
