I would have problems watching Fox.Thank GOD I don't even have that channel here,I would get sick.
Who are these idiots anyway?
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,270874,00.html
At the bottom of the page I have read one of the stupidest things I've ever laid my eyes on.
"Rush is back. The big hair, fake falsetto heavy metal group that made the 1980s so irrelevant musically sold 84,000 copies for Atlantic Records last week with a new album called "Snakes & Arrows." Never underestimate the low standards of the buying public, I guess. Journey, Poison, shoulder pads and perms shouldn't be too far behind at this rate."
The guy responsible for this garbage,Roger Friedman, deserves some TNT e-mails a la Reardon.

Don't be shy.

Actually Fox news is superior to CNN in news coverage. I agree we should email Roger Friedman.

Well, I don't know if I agree with the Journey comment...and I most certainly disagree with the Poison comment....Poison was MUCH better than Rush!
But frankly, I can't stand Rush...Geddy Lee's voice grates on my very soul....like elvira's fingernails on a chalkboard...so any news agency bashing that group of canadian jerk offs is prefectly a-ok in my book...
granted, I seem to be shifting very quickly from the right to the left, with respect to my political views....so in keeping with that general philosophy, fuck Fox News!

That's such bullcrap. CNN is the closest thing the U.S. has to the B.B.C. other than N.P.R. Fox is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Slanted to the right, it's not even remotely funny. It's nothing more than conservative propaganda. Anyone who get their "news" from Fox isn't getting the truth at all. Their "anchors" are nothing more than disinfotainers.
Shania, I agree, the Friedman is an asshole. The 80's contributed a hundred times more viable and relevant music than the 90's. History will show us that, and those so-called "iconic" bands from the Grunge era will NOT have the respect of music historians...over time, history appreciates talent and melody, not poor musicianship and off-key caterwauling.

Only someone who LOVES Fox news and has teh same views that their "anchors" have, would say Fox news is more trustworty than CNN or any other news outlet here in the U.S. Yes, they are indeed slanted, and I'm sure the people who LOVE Fox and their bufoons, will be here soon to defend the channel.

Fox News is the only news channel that even OFFERS a conservative opinion so of course it seems slanted.

Fox News is definitely biased -- it just isn't worth my time. CNN yes, other than that, why bother.
and Rush? Gaah. I cannot stand that voice. One of the few rock bands that I immediately switch channels over. Like fingernails on a chalkboard.

Frankly, both stations (fox and cnn) have serious slants in one direction or another. Within each news organization, there are also personalities that buck the general trend of the station. Dobbs is a good example on CNN...I know him personally (worked for him at space.com back in 1998-2000)...and back then, I got the impression he was very much a conservative. These days, he takes almost as many shots at the current baffoon in orafice than Keith Olbermann...
I think news reporting has changed dramatically over the past few years. It used to be that stations reported on a slant, but claimed they were impartial. Nowadays, stations are almost embracing their slant...and if they don't come out and say it, they let their on-screen personas do.

Exactly. It's funny how the parrots on the left that cry "CONSERVATIVE! CONSERVATIVE!" seem to be blind to the left-leaning bias of other networks like CNN. They are BOTH biased. Fox to the right. CNN to the left.

I think that if you didn't live the 60's-70's and see the HUGE change in the Dem party, post John Kennedy ,you can't judge the differences in that party. If you live on the coasts or attend colleges with professors endoctrinating you can't realize it either. Please, get your news from mulitple sources and think for yourself. Networks are agenda driven,so are newspapers, radio etc and NEVER use political soundbytes as a source.. Some of these politicians rely on people being so busy or ill informed or hanging too much on MR, that they spew all types of nonsense only to see the opposition show on TV them saying just the opposite. Dolts !

You wrote this tripe? Well allow me to respond. You need to do some homework Roger. 84,000 copies in one week doesn't sound very irrelevant to me. And that would be well over 20 years past the bands prime. What's irrelevant here is your musical opinion. Someone named Roger missed the bus. Then bashed Journey and Poison as well. All three of these bands have some of the finest rock musicians ever, especially Journey. Go listen to your elevator music and learn what talent is before you spew crap like this. And I've got your low standard swinging. Moron.

Fox is more slanted toward conservative views and CNN is slanted toward more liberal views. Anyone who disagrees with that is not paying attention. When I'm in "news junkie" mode I try watching both channels in order to get both sides of the story, then I form my own opinions. But, as far as the news story goes, yeah, that's pure crap! And, even though I like Poison, Rush is a thousand times a better band than Poison. Of course, Journey tops them all!

1. Rush is not now nor ever has been a heavy metal group.
2. The members of rush have never had "big" hair.
3. Geddy Lee has never sung in falsetto as far as I'm aware.

I prefer MSNBC... I love MSNBC Investigates, To Catch A Predator (don't EVEN get me started on them!), and Keith Olbermann. Frankly, I think people should watch news and decide how they feel/think about it without a talking head telling them. Watching news from more than one channel is probably a good idea - definitely a better chance of getting more of the story.

When Fox News gets caught red handed presenting fake documents to smear a Democrat, then states that they stand by the fake documents because they believe the theory that the fake documents support, like Rather and CBS did. One which they tried to prove every election cycle when a certain Texas governor/president is running, then maybe I'll listen to libs who cry about Fox being slanted!
