Steve Perry: "Currently Untitled"

The past several years have seen Steve Perry peak out from behind the shadows and share re-masters, live DVD's & make multiple appearances on TV/Radio but can "The Voice" pull off the ultimate treasure in a new studio disc? There were mentions all over the internet, in the press through-out 2006 that Steve was not only working on the re-mastering of classic Journey material but working on brand new solo tracks. Of course all of this is purely speculation as even Perry would not commit to answering the biggest question of them all "Will You Return?" Steve himself did however mentioned in December '06 that he was going back into the studio to see what he had left. This in no way means a release is for sure but it is a step in the right direction. While Journey fans are in chaos over yet another lead singer change, one thing is perfectly clear. If Steve releases anything or tours in the coming year he will fill the void and bring a temporary stop to the bad blood that has been spread through-out the Journey community.

And the PR machine starts up its engine. I know the answer to this question....at least what he intends to do AS OF RIGHT NOW. Of course, we all know that is subject to change. So I'll keep my mouth shut.

There is no news in that blurb. I hope he is coming out with some solo stuff. It would be really nice if he would just tell his fans whether or not he is.

It's a band. Screw Journey. I value the friends I have made here much more than the band itself. Going to the shows was always secondary for me. Hanging out with Melissa, Angela, Krista, Lynn, Granny, Norm, Cindy, Donna, Travis, AR, his old lady, NIG(when he comes), DCVader, Joe22, Cyndy, Lora, and all the rest I have yet to mention(No offense), is always better than a Journey show, to me at least.

Steve perry was a part of Journey. He wasn't Journey. You seem to forget that.
