Two new songs. Very nice and different than what we're used to hearing from him.

I thought Wherever You Wanna Go & Bring It On Home were new. They were'nt on there a couple of days ago. My bad. Still, a nice find for me.

I like the solo stuff. Of course at this point, anything that doesnt' involve any one of the boys, is going to get a fair listen from me, and with jeff's voice, and writing, I can only say, it's great stuff.

I really love Gin & Tonic Sky and Wherever U Wanna Go. I cannot think of any artist more versatile then JSS. He is an exceptional talent in his voice, and in his songwriting. He knows what to do with his voice and the mechanics to be a very good singer, many do, but too many sing without emotion, they don't "feel" the music. It is the soulfullness that Jeff expresses with his voice and his words that gives him the extra special quality that stands out from others. He doesn't just sing, he feels the music,... you can hear it.

I was thinking the same thing... I'm sorry to say that I didn't really know JSS before last year. However, as I have learned more about him - I am amazed at his talent. And watching "Rock Star" is even more fun!!

I agree that Soto is a fairly versatile artist, almost what I could call a vocal chameleon (in other words he cater to the song type seamlessly and sound reasonably natural in doing so). I've heard him use at least 3 distinct styles, one for journey, one for the AOR stuff, and another for the more metal based harder stuff. Even on Talisman he used a couple different styles from song to song. I enjoy listening to him and even though Journey sacked him, I think his future is still bright now that he's been exposed to good sized audiences and people start to know who he is.

I'd love to hear a JSS solo album as soon as possible.Material in the vein of
Wherever U Wanna Go would be absolutely awesome.Powerful and soulful at the same time,melodic...
That's what I'd like to listen to.
