Hey! News Flash!

This is not "our" band but rather a band we enjoy for various and obvious reasons-the music! People; try to remember who's band this actually is! The founding member, thats who!!! If you don't know who that is, the you should go elsewhere. Some confused souls in here actually write as if it was "their own" band-how disillusioned! Time to get a grip on reality here...let them handle "there" business and just mellow out all.

I don't care what they do personally as long as their not blowing up any buildings or whacking people Soprano style...get over yourselfs and get a life!

This is correct. Even though I don't like the way this all went down, it is still their band. They can take it in what ever direction they want. If you are leaving the fold of Journey fans due to how this was handled and your "perception" of what the morals of the members are, then that is your right to do so. But to come here daily and harp on a band that many here say they are "done with" borders on lunacy.

And yes there is no harm in discussing the band here, but some here basically talk (type) like they are the manager or a long time member of the band. And, yes, we do have the right to discuss what ever we want here. But is it really creative, fun or fullfilling to come here every day and bash a band that at least at some point in time we all liked? Why? Seriously, what are each of you personally getting out of it? I am curious.

Some have referred to themselves as Journey fans, when truely they are JSS fans, or Perry fans, or SA fans, or just fans of the vocals.

Let me repeat, I don't like the way it went down. I wish it hadn't happened. But I don't know the whole story and neither does anyone else here, no matter what they say. I will follow the band and see what comes next. I have always enjoyed the music and will continue to be a fan until the music doesn't move me any longer. And then, I won't be coming here daily to tell everyone that I am no longer a fan,that the band sucks, the members are stupid evil people, and try to convince others to also no longer be fans.

AMEN!! If you have decided to move on that's your decision, and if you feel the need to say your piece and express your feelings, that's cool too. I just think that if those are your feelings, then say your piece and move on. It kind of defeats expressing your feelings when you keep coming back over and over again.

Yes. It's their band and they can do what they want. This forum is here for fans to express how they feel about what they do. Seems like a good arrangement to me.

Right on SF-Dano. It's very obvious that there are some pissed off Journey...I mean...non Journey fans here. I too agree that it's a bad deal what happened to JSS. But you know, how many of the Journey fans across the country likely give a damn or even know what happened. The hard core fans know what happened, but the general "Journey's Greatest Hits" fan has no clue and it's still all about the music. "When" Journey tours again, I guarantee they will pack in the crowds. Always have, always will. And I do wish JSS the best as I did with Augeri. Both are great. However, the Journey will continue...

Yeah. They also sold their heart and soul by losing their core fans. Should have known it was about nothing other than the money. Somehow, though, I'm not all that surprised.
