People saying that they are not going to support Journey because of ass Fro and pucker anus piano boy need to realize that by doing this they are screwing one of their own. Jeremy is a regular guy with an extreme talent. I too dislike the way they fucked JSS but that it over and done with and all the bitching and crying in thw world wont change a thing. If Jeremy gets the gig and Journey is near your city then fucking go see them no matter how much you hate Cain and Schon. Lets all make Jeremy feel at home and welcome so he is comfortable on stage. Get good seats and yell your ass off like a loon. This is going to be very hard for him as he has some big shoes to fill and the comparisons will be flying. Jeremy has been nothing but cool and everyone knows he will do a good job once his nerves calm down.

Jeremey, if the rumors are true, then I say ABSOLUTE BEST OF LUCK!!! GO LIVE THE DREAM AND MAKE THE BEST OF IT!!!

While I agree that Jeremey is a nice guy, I can't see myself putting more money into Neal and Jon's bank account by seeing them live. They've burned that bridge when they treated Jeff the way they did.

It's generally spelled without an extra 'e' here too, but Jeremey is unique, and as such has a uniquely spelled name.

Jeremey seems like a super guy, but I stand by my position. If this is what Journey has become, and this is all they have left, I cannot support them. Nothing personal, but I have better things to spend my hard earned money on.

I understand your allegiance to Jeremey, he is one cool, great dude. But, and with all do respect to you, our reaction to the treatment of JSS is not nearly over nor done with. With that said, if they come to Dallas, it's still too early to tell what I'll do. Right now I wouldn't go see them if you payed me to. Next year, after the sting has worn off, who knows. I do want to support Jeremey, believe me I do. But it's way too early to tell how I'm going to feel about it.

How old is Jeremey? Journey needs a younger singer who's voice can hold up better to touring, etc.

I've not listened to him closely until the recent speculation. All I have to say is if Journey ever wanted a guy who could match Perry 100% vocally in the Escape/Frontiers era, NO ONE sounds better than Jeremey....WOW, WOW and WOW!

I think that Cain is thinking that the band has 3-4 years max left and since getting Perry is not going to happen, Cain wants a true Perry clone who can sing his ass off with power and hit ALL of the notes Perry hit in his best time singing, so that the band can go out on high note. Augeri couldn't do it. Soto wouldn't do it and the band obviously didn't want to go in new directions with Soto.

I think that Cain and Schon don't really put a huge value on getting another song writer as good as Perry was. They think that they can write the songs (although my opinion is never quite up to their collaborations with Perry) and just need a guy who can sing them Journey style which is absolutely Perry style.

I WAS a Augeri fan, but now have to say in hindsight that he was definitely sub-par vocally for this band. I liked Soto's power and energy but never really felt he was the right fit for Journey as breaking away from the Perry influence of this band's music just will not work, most fans are just not open to this change in Journey. Journey is simply not like the Van Hagar era.

I say, if Jeremey gets a real shot at this, I wish him the very best of luck and will buy any CD and go to any show I can get to. I just hope he doesn't get screwed like Augeri and Soto did. Perry has to have quite a grin on his face right now, having said, "Don't crack the stone." They have BROKEN the stone into 1000 pieces..

same goes for me too.

If they go down that road, I can't see them getting many ticket saels in the UK personally, if they ever did think of doing a tour over here again,well that's the opinion of a few of us here ( friends etc)

Every time someone new is being considered for a new frontman, he is said to be the nicest, sweetest guy. I wish that they would find a real prick, then they might find someone who will cross his t's and dot his i's, push his weight around and get the job done.

After impersonating Perry for as long as Jeremey did, he tells how he really feels about Perry's performing and pokes fun of the extent to which Steve went to take care of his voice. He should fit in with Schon and Cain just fine. Schon can turn up his amp's to max for all I give a crap now.

For me, it's not a matter of supporting Jeremy or not. It's DEAD to me. How could I possibly support this band when led by these liars and cheats????

It's not a question (for me) of supporting Jeremey. I've told Jer several times that I'd support him and Frontiers should they make it to my area to play. What I won't support is Journey any longer. No matter who(m) the lead singer might be. That's not dis-respecting Jeremey at all. It's called having respect for myself and my bank account, as well as having SOME dignity, which F & F obviosuly don't have.

I'll go to every show possible if Jeremey gets the gig. he's that good and whether or not I go isn't make a damn bit of difference to Neal and Jon's pockets. They'll be loaded ragardless.

I don't know what makes everyone think that he is even being considered for the Journey gig?
