Most people have been reporting the bad host request (myself included). The reasonable consensus is they are redesigning the site.

I suspect those that are still able to see it might be looking at previously cached page(s) in their browser. To test that theory, if you are still able to see it, when you're at that website, refresh the page and see if it still comes up.

How very appropriate.

The site still works. I got in.
Although, there isn't anything there except the 2 June 12th announcements and the store.
Everything else is gone due to the site being redesigned.

This is the message on the top once you hit "enter site":

The Journey Website is Currently being re-designed.
Stay Tuned for an all new website in the near future!

You're not missing much, even when it's up. It's the most boring professional band site I've ever seen.

I got that too. When I went back in with www.journeymusic.com, instead of just journeymusic.com, it worked.

But then again... it's the erased version.

That worked for me too. I stand corrected. Wonder what the difference is between using the www first vs. not?

Yep....that's the problem....people are going to the wrong URL.

Go to:

http://www.journeymusic.com/

But, like you said, almost everythng is gone. Only the store and 'news' page remains.

You mean there is an online Journey store that exists that is worthy of having perfectly good eggs thrown at it?

Who said anything about 'good eggs'. I'm sure there's a stockpile of rancid eggs somewhere.

You know, I said in another thread earlier that I mostly respected your opinions, Deano, but it is at times like this that I lose ALL respect for you. Senseless personal attacks all for a cheap laugh for your followers.

Precisely my point. How many more people would like Deano for his natural wit if he didn't throw bombs like this all the time and cause me so much greif.

Will our advice ever be taken? Not so far, so I'm guessing never.

Sorry Drew...

I disagree with you on this one. As far as I'm concerned, that place can't be bashed enough! I realize the position that you're in (and don't envy it a bit), and understand the fine line you must walk around here. That said, that place has ALWAYS been a complete and utter embarrassment to most Journey fans. Also, your site has been blasted, ad nauseum, on that website over the years, and the esteemed mods on that site never saw fit to go to bat for you, so I'm not sure why you even bother backing these clowns! The mods on that site were only ever concerned about telling the members what their opinions should be! I find it offensive that so many of those dopes went on and on about what a vile and vulgar site this is, and now they're posting here! I personally hope that Jackass Talk opens back up, so some of these wackos can go back to their own playground and leave us alone!

To be fair John, you (and i) had fairly high profiles over there for a while - what got to me was that it was kinda like a prayer meeting. I always enjoyed your posts re the wigglers tho!!! Hope you are well dude.

I was referring to other problems caused here, not necessarily BT comments as such.
