Van Halen Regroups, Anything is Possible

Well folks, Van Halen is now going on tour in September with David Lee Roth and the gang minus Michael Anthony. So for those that don't believe that Steve Perry could walk back into Journey at any momement, this unlikely event proves anything CAN happen.

One thing to note about Van Halen and all of the other bands with singer problems, most all of them have the SAME management as Journey.

Yeah and Perry didn't get canned from a radio gig after 20 minutes.

Nah, I don't blame him at all. He's a kid who will get to play before thousands of fans each night. EVH and AVH are the ones with no integrity.

Perry was the creative center, who wrote the majority songs for VH?

I think most, if not all, of their original tunes are all credited to the entire band.

What do you fucking idiots not hear and realize that Perry is not coming back!!!!!!! He has said it like 1,000,000 times. You fucking people need to go back to Perryville, BackTalk or where ever you came from and talk about this shit. We deal in reality here and Perry is DONE!!!!! This is a ridiculous statement and idea. Throw in the Police did it too while your at it. Bottom line, The didn't have MO and Curly playing piano and guitar for them. Get over it.

Hello everyone. This is Steve Perry. As you are aware I have yet to launch my own web site and Fan Asylum is still the only credible site for official statements from me. Once again they have kindly allowed me to post this statement. It has been brought to my attention that there is a rumor circulating that I am reuniting with Journey. I want to go on record as saying that I have no such plans whatsoever to do that. What you have heard is only a rumor. I’m truly sorry for any disappointment this rumor may be causing.

I also would like to say that your faithfulness continues to warm my heart.

Thank you so very much,

Steve Perry

NOW SHUT THE FUCK UP

It'll NEVER happened.

No Anthony, no reunion.

I'll believe it when they perform before a live audience. If it is indeed true, I doubt it will last for long, and that's a shame. Diamond Dave might be a few cards short of a full deck these days, but they will never find a better front man than him.

I really enjoy the DLR days. They bring back great memories. Sammy did a great job, too. However, everytime I hear the 70's VH.. it takes me back to a special place.. a place where before a good friend of mine died in a car wreck. Kind of sweet N sour.. the memories sometimes.

I was thinking the exact same thing... Unless and until it happens - it may not. And as unreal as this is (if it DOES happen), it is more realistic than SP reuniting with Journey. Several others have posted that point before in much better ways than I could.

When Van Halen get up on stage and start playing, THEN I'll believe that anything can happen. Right now, as far as I'm concerned, it's still speculation. We've been here before, not too long ago.

BTW I agree, it's not a reunion w/o Mikey.

So the band that toured ROR was not Journey, either?

Was that a reunion tour? :?

Ok, I see your point. As far as VH goes, for ME, it isn't the same w/o Mikey.
