I've heard pretty much all of them and did not deem them worth buying. I appreciate how good they are musically, but they're just not my cup of tea.

I love the debut and there are several tracks that I play quite a bit: Of a Lifetime, Kahoutek, In the Morning Day, and To Play Some Music. My favorite, however, is "Topaz". Love that track.

Both "Look Into the Future" and "Next" are good but the debut is easily better, in my opinion.

I have them and listen to them once in a while. There's some really good stuff there, although it is a very different style than Journey has used since the beginning of the Perry era. I love Kohoutek and Next.

I listent to the debut like once a year. LITTF maybe bi-annually and I don't own Next yet (though I do have some killer live tracks that were on that record).

Listen to Time D1, which has the best of that era quite frequently. I love that disc.

Not at all. The music is fine but I'm a Steve Perry fan and when he came on board the group changed to my liking. Without Perry Journey would not be the Journey we know today.

Now they could have gotten another lead singer and done fine but Perry was the magic that sparked the flame.

NEXT is my personal favorite.the music is killer.not being silly but i have imagined what it might've sounded like with steve on some of the tracks......

There are good available boots w/ Perry singing on the Infinity and Evolution tours (along w/ Rolie) on some of the Pre-perry material.

Same here, that's the only amount of early Journey I'm going to own.

I think I have a "Look Into The Future" audio cassette  I bought in a US gas station, but I don't have anything to play it on.

sad!!! every REAL fan should have the first 3 ALBUMS and cds... plus the Charge of the Light
Brigade unrealeased album (thanks mr. x).... ..................Spaceman is a masterpiece of
70s sounds.. it should be a requirement to spin these albums 2x a year , get out our reading
glasses and temporarilly memorize the UPC codes on the back and briefly discuss if our
version of the album is Columbia House or Columbia House/ Sony,,, this is important .. IF
you find that your Next album is red vinyl or virgin vinyl , then a new thread should be started.. .
..

..
.. honestly , 1975 journey was fun 70's rock ,,that same haunting voice that recorded Black Magic Woman ,, WOW!!
and all over Abraxos Pool...

Well...Perry's saying "Who the fuck is this guy fuckin' with MY legacy" and Augeri's sayin' "Who the fuck is this guy fuckin' with my legacy which just happens to be Perry's legacy". That's what I got out of it anyway.
