I just knew not to look. I did anyway. I think Andrew's guitar could have helped him land better.

It's admirable to me that the guy in the background dropped his clipboard immediately and raced to help the guy.
I would never be able to do that because I'd be on the ground laughing for half an hour.

Drew just shook it off and tried the treadmill next.

OMG, all the years that I've been going to the gym I've had this fear I would wipe out on the treadmill. Last year I finally saw it happen to someone, glad it wasn't me.

LOL!
I love how that friggin MONUMENT on the other one just stares straight-facedly dead ahead and keeps chugging like Drago in Rocky 4 while the poor bastard is literally being shot across the room!

Yeah, I was like, "Did that other guy just not see it happen or is he asleep?"

I wonder if the major floor burn he received in that accident has worn off yet.

The guy I saw it happen to managed to grab the railing for a little bit while his body was flailing and crashing around on the other end, he finally lost grip and just kind of heaped up on the floor behind it. The whole gym just stopped cold. He was so embarrassed but at least he was young and bounced right back up. At least his face didn't land on it and get road rash. Now that would have been horrible/funny.

Yikes! I have had a couple of close calls on the treadmill. Yes, I am that much of a clutz! One time I planted my foot wrong and hurt my ankle. The other time I was just too close to the front and stumbled. Both times I was able to grab the side rails and get my feet to the sides without getting big injuries. Once was at the health club and once was at home. I mainly run outside now--running on the street is much safer for me than the treadmill!
