It was, NIG. What a fun night. I was so elated to be out of jail. Would have been hard to hear through all of that concrete.

Nice enough voice, nothing special.

One of the things that he (and others) miss is capturing Perry's signature rhythm. If you listen to Perry sing almost anything, part of his skill is to lay right back on the beat, creating room for the other instruments. Jeremy does cope with it pretty well, but I don't hear it with this guy, and with a lot of the other tribute singers.

WTF are YOU talking about? That show was in an outdoor festival (about 2000-2500 people)!!! It was not a private party! Who were the "west coast guests" you're referring to? I think you got your dates/locations a little out of wack! Lol!!!

Unless you're seeing something other than "Suzanne" performed on May 11, 2007, you are wrong. This was a private party hosted by one of our fellow MR/Annex posters. Many of the MR faithful and nearly ALL the Annexians were there. Frontiers performed this on a Friday night before heading to Chicago to appear at the HOB the next day. We were celebrating not only the Frontiers performance but also anticipating the Journey concert the next day in Leesburg. If I am the only one seeing the clip for "Suzanne" then I apologize, and my YouTube is seriously whacked!!!

That was a fabulous concert and a great time. The crowd was VERY into it. I do vaguely remember you. Mind you, I was trashed.

He'll have to clear that up for us, but his comments to Niggy led me to believe he was talking about the same show I was...until he vaguely remembered you being there. It was quite an eventful weekend for SJ!!!

Either way, it doesn't matter. Frontiers has been great every time I've seen them. Not sure what will happen with the Journey thing, but whatever happens, these guys will be alright!

I believe Frontiers was playing in CLEVELAND the following night. See, anyone can make a mistake. Ha ha.

The guy from the Dutch tribute band has a nice voice and can hit all those high notes, but Jeremey's voice is more suited for the band.

The only other guy I would take other than JSS, Jeremey, or Perry himself would be Chalfant.

It was a truly incredible night. I know it's one I'll never forget.

Are u kidding? He's the worst of all the Journey cover singers I've seen so far. I hate to say this, but I might be able to do better than him myself. It's as if he just doesn't "get" the music at all. He's off the beat several times & goes into falsetto for some of the high notes which he can't hit in head voice. Journey ain't the Bee Gees. Does he know that? I don't even know how to describe his lower register. He has none so he talks??? Wheel In The Sky was just horrible. What is w/the seriously out of tune bg vox on I'll Be Alright Without You? What song are they singing? Ouch. That hurt my ears.
