A few of you have recently emailed
me this touching photo that Nora posted on the boards.

Since I can't get to the MR-forums, I can't tell you how
heart-warming it is to learn that I still am thought of over there ~
This photo and saying, though pointing toward God as a Power, means more
than just that to me…
The 'Power' behind me and everything I do is not only a God that I believe in, but
my Power and inner-strength and will to go on everyday comes from
my "3 Lovely Ladies" waiting for me at home, my family and, without a doubt,
ALL OF YOU from the MR.com communtiy that I have come to know, love and respect
as family and friends. you don't know how much I wish I could be on the boards with you, taking
part in all the commentary and baffoonary that became such an important part of my
life before this trip. Thanks for keeping me in your thoughts and pleae, feel free to share
this comment from me on the board…
I would like to get this message to EVERYONE, including the folks that
I never got email addys from.

Carl- I hope you see this, or I will send the info along to you through email right before we send it. PKG on the way , shortly. I just have to see what the PO expects as far as wrapping. Carl says coffee is gold and snacks and personal products , drinks that can be reconstituted,candy & even melted chocalate is appreciated. Now get with it all !!!! USPS is 8.10 for a shirt box or shoe box size, so get together !Mary

he can't see here but can read email. did you add yourself to his list before he left? pm me if not.

oh and fill out the BIG form--less likely to come back says the post office. when listing a value, keep it LOW LOW LOW.

Priority only goes fast to the APO in the states so really no use to spend the extra $, says post office girl.

Larry - They have a coffee maker,but prefer NO Decaf. Candy,snacks, personal products all appreciated. I sent powered drinks, tea, Ramen noodles. I am sending sports articles. HE SAID DEFINATELY NO PORN OR ALCOHOL in a post awhile back.

Finally, for those of you that were wanting to send stuff over here, like care packages,
I will put my mailing address at the end. Just remember a couple things…

First and Foremost, NO ALCOHOL OR PORN ~ Don't even consider it.
Secondly, some things the guys and girls like getting while they are here are simple things
like snack foods (nuts, cookies, gum, candy etc), hygiene products (toothpaste, soaps, hand sanitizer etc) and any music or books you would like to share. We have folks with ALL kinds of musical tastes so don't be shy. Those are just some basics; use your imagination.

Just keep in mind, packages take anywhere from 7-14 days to get to us here;
don't send anything that can spoil or rot.
