why people leave animals and children in cars! anytime is bad to do this, but in the sweltering temperatures!
What is so hard about looking in the backseat when you get out of your vehicle to make sure nothing alive is in the car! Have we not learned anything?

In addition, I think he was on duty at least part of this time.

As for kids, how do you forget you have a child with you? I don't care if they are sleeping.

These people need to be punished heavily. I don't care that they're suffering mentally already, they can do that in jail too.

Check this one out. This is disgusting on so many levels. This woman is an assistant principal at a school - responsible for other people's children and can't even remember her own. She'd even been warned before about leaving the baby in the car. What really disgusted me was that her best friend was on the local news last night "speaking for her", and said people need to remember it could happen to anyone. She just "forgot". And she's ready to go back to work. If I had children in that school I'd pull the out immediately if they hold their employees to such low standards of responsibility.

I could not leave my children in the car or an animal. How can you forget your own child or leave an animal, especially a fellow police officer?

A 9 month old baby was left in a car at a bank in my area not too long ago.
