O.T. Tennessee gets SPANKED!

I figured we would get beaten, but I didn't know it would be that bad. Time for Fulmer to leave. Not that it was his fault, I am just ready for a change.

The only thing that makes it better is that Michigan drove Notre Dame into the ground (Take THAT Jimmy Clausen!)

Time to watch USC stomp Nebraska.

I couldn't agree with you more Knox. Talk about an embarrassment!!! The team played with no heart, no intensity and no passion. They did not show up to play. And on national tv too. The general consensus on the TN message boards is that it's time for Fulmer to go. While I don't live in Tennessee, my boys go to school there and I asked them to watch Fulmer's show tomorrow because I would love to hear his explanation as to this debacle. My boys said they played with no pride -- that says it all.

I was sorry to see that too Knox. I like the Vols.

As a huge Vol fan and living in Nashville, I was also embarassed by that game today. Have we ever lost so badly? I guess the last time I can remember was 1995, also to the dreaded Gators; and that was when Peyton was the QB..can you imagine that?

Seems to me the biggest problem today was Eric's finger injury..he couldn't throw the long pass into the corner and the funble by Foster was due to his bad hand off...just my .02 worth.

Oh well, it's just a game....

Um, no. When you give up 59 points, a throwing finger isn't going to make a shit of difference.

Oh well, it's just a game....

Huh? I take my team's losses hard. Fuck, in college, if we lost, I wouldn't go to school in a week.

My boss is a TENNESSEE FAN, always dogging my BAMA team.
I won't go into details, but ya'll know why I HATE TENNESSEE..
I can't wait for tomorrow when I get to work....

I was praying the ROSARY last night!
BAMA almost handed their ass to the HAWGS last night!
I'm sorry, I'm not in the norm here, I love ND!!!
All this scuttle butt about the PATRIOTS and their cheating, makes me wonder,
just how good Weis really is as a coach.

Wow, three straight games with negative rushing yardage and no offensive TDs for Notre Dame.

This should be the year Navy beats them.

I'm really starting to believe that ND might go 0-12. They are the worst team in the land. I TOLD everyone thta hiring that obese fucker was a terrible move. Well, look on the bright side. To circumvent their mistake, they added a few years to his contract, making it a total of 10. I'll tell you something I know to be a fact. ND has some big time boosters that like to gamble and the fact that they are now 0-3 againt the spread is gonna be more of a problem than their overall record. Dude has to start covering some games or next year will be his last. 3 wins at the very most this year.

Notre Dame can do what BAMA did to Shula..
Buy out his contract and send him packing!
On the defense of NOTRE DAME, they are mostly a freshman team..

I am just getting home from this WONDERFUL game and this is exactly what Ive been saying about my beloved Gators. Everyone is saying this is a rebuilding year, etc, etc,etc but we knew we have something very special at our school. Tim Tebow, Percy Harvin and Brandon James are studs, and they are only sophomores!!! The best is still to come for UF. I know this is a tough loss for you Vols but we are just too damn good. It will happen to other teams also when they play us, others who are getting a lot more credit than us. We'll see....GO GATORS!!!!!!

Jesus, they extended Dangerfield into the next Ice Age after 1 year. Come on.

TN: Time to tighten up that D down in Knoxville....lotta pride in that program for this kind of noise to be going on.

Indeed, the Gators were most impressive. Their defense needs to tighten up if TN can score so many points on them. But their offense is one of the best in the country - no doubt. It will be interesting to watch them and USC in the Championship game if both teams continue as they are.

As a Vol, I am forced to "hate" the Gators. But in all honesty, I am really impressed with them and am pulling for them the rest of the year. It will be tough choosing between them and LSU for the SEC game, but you can't go wrong with either.

I think Florida has more talent, though.

TN's Defense is one of the worst I can remember in my 38 years of being a Vol fan. We can't tackle. We can rush the QB. We can't cover receivers... Well, that about covers it.

Time to become a Vanderbilt fan.

I jumped for joy when the GATORS spanked THE VOLS!!!
Now, just kick the AUGBARN'S!! Ya'll just make a hop over to Mobile, Alabama
I'll get the hot oil ready, we'll have some fried chicken and sweet tea to celebrate the victory!

The Big Ten is complete garbage, but the SEC and the PAC10 laid some eggs last weekend. Thanks UCLA. Getting rolled by Utah..fucking Utah 44-6. Nice. And yes, Auburn..Losing at home, again. \

It's agreed the two best conferehnces are the SEC/PAC10..the shit schools at each conference:

SEC-

Tennessee
Auburn
Mississippi
Vandy

PAC10-

Stanford
Arizona
Oregon State

Notre Shame would finish last in each conference. Next loss: next week vs Michigan State. I cannot wait for that Stanford v ND tilt on the ND network, NBC. Wow, talk about embarrassment. Ina year where you DON'T want people to watch your awful program, you are on EVERY week on NBC. HAHAHAHAAH

Yep. Maybe 7 bowl teams.

In fact, I predict Wazzu will throw up 30+ against USC this weekend, but give up 40. This will be the best offense SC will see this year.

Thanks for the kind words and I really do wish UT luck the rest of the way. You still have a lot to play for(Including a possible SEC title birth-Hell-its still wide open) Our defense is very young but very talented and will be monsters very soon. The fact that they held a senior experienced QB to 20 points really impressed me.

Florida's big challenge comes in 3 weeks when they meet LSU in Baton Rouge. IF it stays the way it is now you will see #2 VS. #3 in the polls. This should be a classic.

Just a little info concerning the MIGHTY SEC from the newspaper:

"The SEC continues to lead the nation in team's ranked this week with six. In this week's USA Today Coaches' Poll, LSU is second, Florida third, South Carolina 14th, Alabama 20th, Georgia 21st and Kentucky 23rd. Already this season, nine different SEC teams have been ranked in the major wire service polls."

You stake claim to the importance of rankings?

Um,

Louisville
Michigan
UCLA
Auburn......they were all ranked highly, and they are all not worthy.

Actually, Florida's bye week comes the week after LSU, before the Kentucky game. Our next 3 weeks are Ole Miss in Oxford, Auburn at the Swamp, and then of course LSU in Death Valley.

BCS rankings, which do not come out for 3 weeks, is what decides what. The rankings by AP and the Coaches are garbage. Get your shit right before you run your mouth.

Rankings is what we are talking about Deano, whether it be the AP,the USA Today, or the BCS. And your place in the AP does have a small part in the first BCS poll. My shit is straight partner, I come from the greatest sports conference in the land and we damn well know what the BCS is because the SEC normally rule it. Run my mouth??? Pot, meet kettle.....

Dude, I am trying to tell you, that most of these college fb teams that are ranked at the beginning of the uyear is complete bullshit. Tell me Michigan and Auburn deserve to be ranked, at all? They are ranked every year because of who they are. Nebraska, UCLA, and Notre Dame, same thing.

True, AP rankings play a small part in a team's BCS ranking, but it's the 6th week AP ranking that matters.

PS, greatest sports conference in the land? Hardly.

Go Google College sport championships, and come back and tell me who the Conference of Champions is. Tell me what Conference has won the most NCAA championships. I'll save you the trouble, because you probably can't Google, nor read....It's the PAC10.
