With great interest I'm following this story about Arnel as the new singer and to the hundreds of times I see posters that saying they're so through with Journey, it's laughable, 'cause if you didn't give a fuck you wouldn't even on this board. everyone here cares or they wouldn't be so mad.

If they do hire this Arnel it will be the most AMERICAN thing they've done. That is the great American way to maximize your profit by cheap foreign labor.

So the next time you speak to that sales person from India to buy that $5 T-Shirt made in China that's decorated with lead paint to go with those $20 jeans made in Mexico, remember, you have Corporate America to thank for saving you money.

Sorry, can't resist.

Lido missed the boat that day he left the shack
But that was all he missed and he ain't comin' back
A tombstone bar in a jukejoint car, he made a stop
Just long enough to grab a handle off the top
Next stop Chi town, Lido put the money down and let it roll

He said one more job ought to get it
One last shot 'fore we quit it
One more for the road

Great song.

Ok, with respect to your original post.

It looks like its a done deal for now anyway. Andrew's confirmed it and we have a friend of Arnel's manager just posted that the word's hit the street there too.

I honestly believe alot of the people here don't care one way or the other but this is where a lot hang out so they're here for contact with their friends regardless that its the MR"JF".

But you're right that human nature will have all of us curious about what happens.

I never walked away from Journey and cant wait for this new direction. By the way, Arnel's nationality gets brought into this a bunch but hes the third out of 4 singers to not be totally American-SP was portugese, JSS was spanish. Whats the big deal about it? Talent is talent even if it comes from Atlantis, lost undersea city!!!

Blah, blah, blah, all the singers were American. And if you want to get technical, everyone is a little mix of races. Even though I'm half Euro descent and half Native American, I'm still AMERICAN. Geeze... he's a foreigner. What's the big deal over pointing it out? We're not trying to burn him at the stake or anything.
