When I first got into Journey it was 1985 and this video was available at the local video store. I rented it so often, and kept it for so long my husband finally decided to buy it for me! :) I remember my dad watching it with me (in the beginning, only my folks had a VCR!) when I took it over there to watch. He loved it!

I remember renting this from a video store in the summer of 1988. Great to see these clips again. Herbie looks awesome in the shorts and striped tube socks. :D

Greatness! I have it too & love watching it. I always get chills seeing all those people lovin' Journey...did he say 90,000 in that Philly concert? :D

You know I never realized how effective that storm sound is with SP singing, "edge of the blade" - in the last clip. Sounds so neat. :)

I keep waiting for the narrator to say" Suddenly, Neal Schon rips out to sack the lead singer Steve Perry with a blinding blitz of musical rage, with the aggression of a wounded Puma."

(its a NFL Film..)

The amount of time it will take for Nostril-face's high priced lawyer team to have You Tube yank these videos will rival the amount of time it takes for Zoo fans to digest a pembroke welsh corgi...

I doubt they'll be yanked. There's other copyrighted Journey material that's been on Youtube for quite awhile now.

I am not making this up and this is not sarcasm.

The entire project was done by and for the NFL .... they wanted a motivational film to show "team work" and thought the Journey machine was a good example.

You may stop laughing and get up off the floor at any time now.

depends...Perry's lawyers had the sale of reissue FAB dvds stopped post haste. For some reason, I don't think Perry wants that video out there...

LOL, I have a Cardigan Welsh Corgi, but they tend to be a little less 'meaty' than the Pembrokes....I would suspect that those who eat canine would prefer a little more meat on the bone...

This DVD should be reissued.

it's the next logical choice for a reissue. It'll happen.

the problem with the f&b dvd was the video quality. it was as if someone made a copy of a deteriorated vhs tape. that's why it was yanked. i'd love to see it on dvd too, but it has to be done right.

What?!?! DVD's came out around 1994 and this was released around 1984. How is that possible?

You're right, SJ - no it wasn't released on dvd "originally".
It was on VHS in the 80s, but then was released briefly on DVD several years ago and pulled pretty darn quick.
