Was reading (again) the legend about how the name Journey was chosen from a radio contest. Not sure if that was true, but it got me thinking about what I would name a band if it were up to me.

So many bands have stupid names today, yet are deemed "cool". Here is my list of 5 cool stupid band names (feel free to add yours):

Creampuff Lightbulb
Fish or get off the pot
Frothy Doorknob
3 Alarm Whitewash
Nature Calls

Always thought "The Cars" was kinda dumb. Not original at all but its the music that matters so no biggie.

3 doors down / Matchbox 20 / 30 odd foot of grunts

Too many to name.

"Rumpled Foreskin" is actually a funny name. Wonder if they really considered it?

and if Sebastian Bach had had is way and called Supergroup lineup "Savage Animal", that might have topped the list.

Weak Sphincter with Shorty Jefferson...my buddy and I use this name for our little Jazz band...

Obviously we aren't going anywhere with a name like that...but it's cool to say!
