You shoulda been here. It was traditional New Year's day fare... (for our family anyway). Roast pork, mashed potatoes, butternut squash, corn, and the best saurkraut you can imagine. No black-eyed peas for us (YUK!). My mother-in-law is a great cook. Now you see why I needed the treadmill...

p.s. sorry I didn't call last night like I said I was gonna, but Lauren wanted snuggle time after the ball dropped, and then we fell asleep.

It's true I thought Ed's comment was funny, not because of Lynn but because it was straight out of left field and so typical of Ed. Since then I have also stated that I should do exactly what Ed suggested for Lynn. It is a self-deprecating humor. Sorry you didn't get that. Now, had I said, "I need to get on a treadmill or my ass will get as big as Lynn's", then you would've had a valid argument. For the record, I don't think there's anything wrong with how she looks.

As for Beshad, your comment didn't even make sense. Get on a treadmill cause I'm rude? That's just stupid. You keep trying to create a problem where there isn't one, and the only person that looks stupid (and rude) is you.

Donna, I took offense to your comment earlier about the treadmill. I thought it was dumb when Ed said it. And then to see you tease about it made me feel like you were poking fun at me too. I'm sure Behshad felt the same way. I don't think he is trying to create a problem. I think he feels he is defending me.
